Every other celebrity or person of note that's has attended Hamilton has done a meet n greet backstage. Pence wussed out and tried to sneak out the back.

The cast was respectful and told the audience to stop booing. It's an effective way to try to reach out, whether or not you support the message. What could have devolved into the crowd ganging up on Pence was handled well, actors also have a right to free speech and expression etc etc.

It's a good musical. Aaron Burr was even more of an astronomical asshole than portrayed in the musical (e.g. The whole Burr Treason and subsequent flight to Europe and being so much of a cuck that he died before his elderly wife could divorce him for being a dick)
