I am trying to remember a series of animated cat films I saw posted on 4chan. All I remember is that one of the posters had a cat wearing a fez hat and russian looking building in the background I think the movie might be set in moscow. I've tried googling everything "animated cat film set in Russia" "movie about cats in moscow" but the movie I remember never shows up. Does anyone know what I am talking about? and if so please tell me the name of the movie I'm pretty sure it's an entire series of animated films that's all about cats.

cats & dogs? its like a trilogy
no the poster just had a bunch of cats one of them was black and wearing a red fez hat and I'm pretty sure one of these types of buildings was in the background also I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of movies in this series like close to 10 but I can't find anything. onion-domes-and-spires-at-st-basils-cathedral-in-red-square-moscow-A6W254-4199148270.jpg

I only saw the poster but the style of animation looked similar to studio Ghibli but I feel like it was probably made by a russian studio.
Was the cat cat-like, or anthropomorphic?
There's a series called Leopold the Cat / Кот Леопольд, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

Edit: I remembered the existence of The Tree and the Cat because of this question.

You're talking about "The Cats of Istanbul"

These are not real movies, by the way. They are AI generated movie posters that just got shared around a lot because they're cool looking. You've been gaslit into chasing a phantom, my friend. But if they were real movies they'd probably be pretty kino.

Ah, there's the answer.
Who wants to watch Kedi instead?

Please dont tell me OP is not able to spot AI slop...
It does beg the question of how often this happens, how often does someone catch a glimpse of a fake poster and go chasing after a movie that literally doesn't exist? I think it goes without saying this will be happening more and more going forward.

Boomers/the elderly are already infamous for their inability to see AI-slop for what it is. The zoomer version might be looking for phantom media.

I wanna see if we can trick the zoomers into believing that Zybourne Clock is a complete game that was lost to time.
Someone else remembers.

I only played the beta release but Johnny and Scholtz jumping from Vandermaus' zeppelin was one of the most intense scenes I've ever experienced in a game, West or East.

I know I spent a hot minute looking for that alleged Russian Star Trek back in the day

This reminds me of the Goncharov psyop from a year ago. Does anybody remember that? It was a fake movie directed by scorsese starring deniro about a Russian mobster escaping the Soviet union n stuff. Very funny, people made posters trailer and music for it.

About actual russian animation, does anybody know the show with a big furry wolf which is supposed to be communist tom and jerry? I have very hazy memories of seeing screenshots of it somewhere.
