Tucker Carlson Reportedly Spotted In Moscow As Fans Speculate Interview With Putin

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was reportedly spotted in Moscow over the weekend, leading fans to speculate he plans on interviewing Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the popular Russian telegram channel Mash, Carlson after arriving to the country on February 1st has spent the last three days in Moscow. The conservative firebrand was first seen boarding a plane on Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Moscow Vnukovo airport.

On Saturday, Carlson reportedly attended the ballet “Spartacus” at the Bolshoi theater in the Russian capital. Pictures began to surface over the weekend showing Carlson at the theater and in the airport heading to Russia.

Some right-wingers on X, formerly known as Twitter, began to speculate Carlson may be the country to interview Putin.

Previously, Carlson said he had planned to sit-down with the Russia president while at Fox News but then called it off claiming the U.S. government was monitoring him.

“I tried to interview Vladimir Putin, and the U.S. government stopped me,” Carlson told the Swiss publication, Die Weltwoche back in September. “By the way, nobody defended me. I don’t think there was anybody in the news media who said, ‘Wait a second. I may not like this guy, but he has a right to interview anyone he wants, and we have a right to hear what Putin says.'”

The Tucky will ask Putler if he thinks Biden is senile. Putin will say "da" and the liberals will ree and gnash as if this was an assassination attempt on Sleepy Joe. Well, twitter retards days will be ruined, but Biden will likely just say "No I am the greatest president...zzz..." and need a diaper change.

Tucker Carlson xeeted a video explaining why he's interviewing Vladimir Putin
[failing to upload archive of the video, Null told me uploads are fucked; I'll try uploading the archived copy later, have a WeTransfer mirror in the meantime]

According to him, Elon Musk promised not to suppress or censor it on Xitter, and it will be published on TuckerCarlson.com as well

I have a strange feeling interviewing a known killer on his home turf could potentially backfire.
The Oliver Stone interview with Putin was pretty good since he basically took it as a chronological biography starting with Putin's views on the USSR and Gorbachev, moved through Yeltsin's time in office, and then his early years in office, it revealed a few things that largely went over peoples heads. Putin said that the CIA was funding the Chechen Islamic terrorist groups through the 90s and well past 9/11 even as Bush was declaring war on them.

The only thing I'm really interested in from Tucker's interview is getting a picture of what the Kremlin views as acceptable victory conditions for the Ukraine conflict so it can be reasonably worked towards.

So he's interviewing an evil dictator, isn't that what journalists are supposed to do?

As long as he doesn't nod along with Putin's worst traits, he should be golden. And if Putin ends up murdering Carlson before he gets back that would give Team Ukraine a huge W.

I'll be impressed if this interview is a tough grilling of Putin that asks him any hard questions, but I strongly suspect it's going to be a flattering sit-down that presents Russia's "side of the story", presenting points like:
  • Eastern Ukraine contains ethnic Russians that deserve their own say in who rules them
  • The actions of Russia are a defence against NATO expansionism
  • Ukraine is a corrupt/Neo-Nazi/terrorist state
  • Some kind of history lesson that proves that Ukraine is historically Russian
  • Any US-focused gripes about Ukraine like Hunter Biden, the war cost, or ties to some kind of NWO/WEF apparatus
  • A look at the number of dead on both sides, showing why "we need [Ukraine] to stop the war"
I'm open to being proven wrong, but the setup for this interview kind of confirms to me that Tucker really does seem to be trying to soften the domestic US audience up to Russia, and allow Russia to win the war by convincing the west to stop financially supporting Ukraine.

Edit: It also bothers me how masturbatory the "American Conservative" sphere is. Carlson can't even finish his promo video without wanking off Elon Musk who "to his great credit has promised not to suppress or block this interview". This stuff comes off as a cynical back-scratching, favour-currying exercise to me, rather than a genuine message of appreciation.
