Twitch Adblocking - as a fuck you to twitch

I saw some discussion of this in the twitch leaks about how uBlock Origin (the default filters) doesn't work on twitch.

I haven't tried any of https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions but I will experiment with them now

Anyone have luck with any of these?

Purple AdBlocker has a 99% success rate for me, and anytime it doesn't, Alternate Player for Twitchtv has worked as a secondary solution.

I use Streamlink. No ads, but I sometimes get that purple 30 second nag screen. It's also much lighter than the website because it isn't aids-ridden javascript.
If that doesn't work, you could use a VPN to connect from a nation they don't serve ads to.

I use this it just clicks the refresh button until the ads disappear, I rarely see any ads, and if I do. they're usually gone in 10 sec

I just recently started using this. I held off for a long time on Twitch ad blockers because I wanted to support the streamers and I only ever got one short ad at the start of watching, then could watch for hours after that with no ads, but then for some reason Twitch suddenly started giving me 3-4 midstream ads at a time. See what happens when you get greedy, companies? Instead of getting more you lose what you already had.

Try running with "--twitch-disable-ads". I believe I've only seen the purple nag screen a couple of times using it.

Unfortunately the author had a breakdown when NanoDefender was sold so now it only supports Firefox. I'm not even sure it's being worked on, but so far it blocks everything.

I don't watch women streams because cleavage. I don't watch boys playing games and anyone with any toy relating to vidya game on shelf behind streamer.

I was watching awesome construction worker 4IthyTastyRPD but after his father and dog died and his sister moved into new house he stopped streaming which is really sad because I really liked that guy.

mentioning uBlock Origin but not uMatrix? cmon. Twitch works for me and I use uMatrix to selectively allow shit until it works, then I leave the rest of it alone to get zero cancer. It takes less than a minute.
