The agreement the majority of streamers sign with Twitch (not those under a network or agency like CAA, for example) force them to an arbitration that would clearly favor Amazon's interests. The week is still young but no class actions or reconciliations can occur easily under arbitration. From the perspectives of the streamers, this could be a further catalyst for them to organize under a union (which would be the most spiteful and hurt Twitch the most), again, its too early to tell.Sounds to me like they're saying they WANT the personal information of users to be leaked.
Because that will totally end well for them. I wonder who twitch streamers will sue? One rando in 4chan? Or fucking Amazon?
They are in a difficult position, as Twitch is (for now) pretty much unchallenged in the streaming business. It is a capital intense operation to run such a site and pay such talent. A mass walk-out to YouTube could happen, but again, its only Friday. We're gonna be waiting a while for anything further to develop outside of streamers coping and getting booty blasted.
