I have not looked through everything, but the released stuff does not appear to include a user table. I think I read that they were shopping that data around.

(Anyone have a table with uids and usernames that I can borrow?)
 
the pirate probably first blackmailed twitch, they didn't pay so he posted some data to get attention, but he keeps the best stuff for premium members, that's a good way to make money if the company doesn't pay

imagine having access to private data (name, address, bank info) of all these twitch stars, it's worth gold, especially if you've been jerking off to a boob streamer for years

Cool. Filing hundreds of different arbitration cases, which twitch would be responsible for the upfront costs of, without the ability to enjoin them definitely wouldn’t hurt their pockets.
 
But is this leaker going to be arrested? That is the hot question. You'd hope he'd get away with this, but it's very unlikely.

Fair, it is just most posts around the leak say it's git history goes to the very beginning and some saying "before it was called twitch."

Also, I was skeptical at first but good call on highscalability, but definitely good reads on mainstream architectures. But why the fuck does an esteemed engineering blog refuse to use HTTPS?

I mean, this is exactly what you see on Chaturbate/camgirl sites in general. That its not only allowed, but encouraged on a site ran by mentally ill american puritans that flog themselves at the sight of a nipple and on a site that heavily caters to children with moms creditcard is just really fucked.
