The issue with this (at least in RiceGum's case), according to trigger (Twitter), is that it DOES set up a "Rules for thee and not for me" system, but without the full list, it is VERY difficult to ascertain if other known troublemakers are enjoying the same protections.
With RiceGum's well-known fuckup being involved with pump and dump crypto scheme 'Save the Kids', that protection should have been long gone, but yet it hasn't. I wonder why that is.
EDIT to add:
PhantomL0rd and Dr. Disrespect are two well-known partners that were banned in recent memory. One is persona non Grata with Twitch. You would think that at least the Doc would have been afforded the same protections as RiceGum, but nope.
