To be fair, it was a ridiculous statement to begin with, like it would make Zionists blush, and my theory is that he (and other anti-woke tubers) get like a list of stuff to talk about or talking points from like a group or something.

Like ever notice that anti-woke circles always have the same politics nothing new or different to offer? I mean it's also the same with the anti-anti-woke circles, they all cover topics predictably.

What happened here is that he probably took his script too far. Like keep in mind (as others pointed out) he has a talent agency, like any other streamers, and ideas are more agreeable from a guy with charisma or personality, regardless of whether they agree or even have any insight of it.

This is my take but I remember a bit back when people were outraged by the Epstein stuff and the Trans shit, and hell even the woke stuff in hobbies or in the public-sphere. I noticed (from my anecdote) there was unity between people, now it's gotten more devisive once again especially on contentious topics or topics no-one really gives a shit about, distracting from the real problems with victims and consequences.

Only reason he backed down is because he got calls from his companies' inverstors and associates but i wouldn't expect anyone who never raised a business to understand that. He should never have talked to Hasan, nor adressed it at all, his point was "fuck them idgaf about their war" which is the only correct opinion a human who thinks critically should have, by having a trap-laden "conversation" with Hasan he actually engaged with the topic of the conflict, terrible mistake.

Engaging with that retarded nepo baby was the dumbest thing Asmond could have done, and it turned out exactly like you would expect. Hasan browbeating him while "conveniently" taking breaks to make sure he can't hit back, and backtracking (too late) to get sponsors to stop pulling out
