Twitter 2/3 - Chris doubles down on alternate reality beliefs

He still has some rudimentary forms of reality checking. Like, the time he "wore a transformed MLP character as a piece of clothing" to Pokemon night, he was still aware that no one else could see what he was imagining. I think as long as he can keep it together when interacting with normies, he'll manage to keep stumbling along through life.
I dunno.
"Believing all fictional creatures literally exist and talking to them" and "praying to an anime character he literally believes is god" are slight causes for concern in my eyes...

Why do you think this is the case?

The effects of estrogen and testosterone are very well established on human bodies.
We're not going to start this again. Chris will never be a trap and feminine hormones are effective during puberty. The further you are on the other side of 18, the less you're going see effects. I've also outlined why pills are only going to mess with Chris' health and do nothing else but make him fatter.

Someone needs to go all the way and convince Chris that he himself is a fictional character. Then introduce him to his "author".

This comment inspired me. I'm drunk and had 20 minutes to kill in MS Paint.

I meant the other pills combined with this. Behavior medication can have adverse side-effects which can be boosted to work if combined with certain other medication. That's why you don't mix cold medicine and allergy medicine. The side effects double down on drowziness and kill you. Chris on fucking estrogen, behavior modifiers, and who knows what else can be causing his sense of reality to wither away into buttfuck nothing.

I don't think his medications have anything to do with it. Chris is absolutely fucking nuts, sure. But I honestly think he's just clinging to these characters because he has wanted to believe they're real for so long, and if he doesn't that basically makes his entire life work of Sonichu invalid. Especially if he originally wrote it under the pretense of 'taking care of' these characters. To admit he's controlling them and they're not telling him what's going on would be a complete loss of his world to him. The pills just probably make him more emotional about it all.

It's interesting that after a sequence of events has been revealed to be trolling to him, that he will still accept the parts that he likes as truth.

i think chris has the logic of "it feels good, it must be real"
it would explain so much, especially how he fell for fake girlfriends over and over, it felt good to have a gf, she must be the one.

That sounds like something one easily modified "Sonic Sez" segment could radically impact.

They're not only effective during puberty. And they're not proportionally (to a large degree) less effective the further you are from 18. It's more that they're most effective during puberty, and less effective anytime else.

Among other things, sex hormones affect how your skeletal structure develops, fat distribution and mood.

Chris has missed the boat on his skeleton becoming more waifish, but fat distribution and mood will change in response to testosterone blockers and estrogen. (Especially the testosterone blockers.)

No one's claiming Chris is going to be pretty, or even girly. But to claim the pills won't have any effect is simply not true.[/

His sense of reality has been playing hooky on him for a long time. It's just that, lately, his fantasy world has become more bizarre and inane. As for medicine, let's all keep in mind that Chris might not even respect the proper dosage.

Chris likely subscribes to a demented version of the "the writer is merely a conduit" theory.

This is a legitimate theory for writers who intend to write characters a certain way but wind up writing them in different manners then they intended due to circumstances while writing the plot. Some writers have postulated their conscious wishes are subordinate to how the story must flow, hence the theory, but they still contend that ultimately, the pen that wrote that story is theirs, regardless how it ended up.

Chris likely sees it the same way for his fantasy world, seeing himself merely as the one narrating the story he's told to others, not that he's the one in the driver's seat for the story, omitting that last part of sanity from the theory to make his delusions make sense.

So fictional characters are real in another dimensions ala South Park Imagination Land, right?

So if I make a character that can/will come to our "dimension" and smack Chris on the head everyday he doesn't get a job, will he believe it and actually be productive??

Only if someone actually goes and smacks him upside the head everyday. Even then, it'll more likely just make Chris paranoid and jumpy.

To be fair, having your date stolen by a man in a pickle suit normally could only happen on some wacky sitcom.

It could also give Chris something he would love...a new way of avoiding responsability: "O-of course Im too smart to be tricked by <insert fake gf or troll>, I was written to do it!"

Then, after Chris was into that bullshit for weeks the "author" could nonchalantly tell him: "Wait a minute...who told you you are the main character? You are a fairly minor comic relief character at best"

Chris's shameless adjustment of his life's narrative is more stark now than it had been before.

On one hand it isn't hard to sell the world on exaggerating yourself, Chris knows what he's doing, that either people hate the stink of his bullshit, or rather they do not care and just tell him to shut up.

On the other hand with the Estrogen habit on top of selling people on his own Ziggy Stardust (Christine) is diseased in all five senses. Same shit, varying levels of crazy.

I think you've seen too many Youtube videos where troons over 30 lie about their transition, claiming they only took HRT, yet have had tons of plastic surgery.
HRT is only going to mess with Chris' metabolism and make him gain weight. The only breast growth he might see is strictly from a prolactin increase AKA titty milk not genuine glandular tissue. These are both effects that normally don't occur in normal woman unless they're pregnant. Like I said, the pills have very little activity when compared to more natural routs of estradiol administration (ovaries or injections). He's probably only on a standard dose,

I wasn't expecting anything dramatic. Heh, and there's certainly such thing as the tranny version of the fat girl angle shot.

But I got the impression that you were implying nothing would happen.

My whole point is that these hormones do have an impact. Not necessarily a huge one, but it does cause changes. Like, even when we're not talking about trannies. For example, when men lose their testicles due to cancer or body builders abuse steroids, they experience all kinds of symptoms.
