Wasn't "the presidents" twitter feed classified as essential government communication, and that was what prevented him from blocking hack journalists? Lawsuit when?
 
It's great to see people who call themselves left-wing suddenly leaping to the defence of the rights of private corporations when they happen to be doing their bidding. "Twitter are a private company, they have no obligation to host Trump on their platform!" - perhaps it's worth asking if having public discourse effectively privatised in the hands of a handful of tech companies is a good thing for democracy?

And it is funny to see the right wing acting like this is some great injustice when a private company dose what it wants on it's own product that is free.

I guess the fascism is all copacetic as long as they keep it on the other side of the pond.

It's because it's the middle east and chinamen. There could be a pedophile ring and twitter wouldn't give a shit unless it was running for president.

Did you even finish reading my post before writing your inane reply? My whole point is that the left should be more concerned than anyone that private tech companies now hold a monopoly on public discourse. Or do you not really believe in your own stated principles?

You are acting like this private company taking away access to there platform is a great injustice.
The key here is simple, either you support private companies or your regulate. Pick a side.

So what is your demand of this private company? Why is this a special case.

It's because they're also taking down the alternatives as well.

It's deplatforming if you cut down the competition for a banned user to go to.
