Taikwondo is a bullshit martial art anyway. Same with Karate and Aikido. Anything where a 16 year old can the highest rank serves no real practical self defence purpose other than being a pathway to boxing, kickboxing, mauy thai, bjj, wrestling, krav maga or something else actually useful.
A 50yr old cigar smoking boomer keeping his taekwondo black belt hung up in his office is pretty pathetic. It would be like anyone else keeping their high school sports day trophies mounted on the wall.

He's probably not incompetent at most of the legal work he does. Problem was he's not a specialist at these kinds of cases and got overwhelmed by procedural hurdles I guess. Similarly, it would probably be dumb to hire a divoce attorney to defend against a murder charge. He should have given a referral to someone else if he didn't have that kind of experience. Also the TCPA is bullshit, and future lolsuits should be done in states without anti-SLAPP laws.

Getting your important paperwork in on time doesn't need any specific specialization or training. It just requires you to take things seriously and zealously advocate for your client.
Which was apparently too much to ask.
