tycoon games

Game Dev Tycoon (2012)
The Movies (2005)

Basically any game that has the entertainment industry as the subject matter

game dev tycoon is for autistic 5 year olds

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I didn't really like it because the system for it is retarded in that it gets literally impossible to play after a while because you keep needing more and more of those points to make a good game, but there is only a limited amount you can even possibly produce. City Game Studio is basically the same thing, but a lot more open.

Game dev Tycoon is horrible.

The reception of a game depends on only two things: the amount of innovation since your last game and whether the theme matches with each other. The only flatter game you'll ever play is DOA volleyball with the option to turn all tits to A cups.

Haven't played City Game Studio, but out of Game Dev Story, Game Dev Tycoon, GameBiz 2, GamersGoMakers, Mad Games Tycoon, and Game Dev Studio, the last one is by far the best. Guess I'll buy it considering I paid off my credit card.

FYI, the official strategy for staying successful in GDT is refraining from making the best game possible, because your games are only compared to your previous best instead of some hidden independent variable that increases by itself over time like you'd rationally assume. Greenheart Games are fucking hacks who needed to boast about how their game isn't pay to-win and like a true 90's simulation game when it's barely more complex than a fucking early 2000's Japanese phone game. They deserved to have their overpriced game pirated.

Ancient tycoon games are the best, like this TV manager game.

I liked playing Zoo Tycoon as a kid, and I still occasionally mess around in it when I'm bored.

Aw heck yea, I love this game. I recently started playing after stumbling upon it on Steam. I don't usually play autist games, but this really speaks to me. Installing the zBase pack improved my experience quite a bit because it made everything more visible. For the longest time I was trying to understand the difference between path signals and other signals, but I just use path sig for everything and it seems to work.

I haven't actually tried it yet but MMORPG Tycoon 2 looks amazing just because you have sandbox mode and customization. I guess the only downside is some people might dislike the art style.

Roller Coaster Tycoon and the original Zoo Tycoon (not the ultra limited game of the same name from the 2010s).

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. Sure it has its flaws, and it's aged horribly, but there hasn't really been anything since that scratches the particular itch.

There's a game that just released on steam called Voxel Tycoon. It's basically a modern OpenTTD mixed with Factorio, got it the day after release and have been thoroughly enjoying my time with it.

Drugwars. That was the first tycoon-style game I played as a kid. Good times.
