This may be related to the riots.

Of course, it's always about (((you.))) The city is on fire, people are being assaulted in the streets, and the only concern is (((your))) community center? Welcome to the club, assholes.

OFC, this was an inevitable development when you remember exactly how fond joggers are of Jews.

Interesting. Does this mean that the protestors are struggling to maintain coherence, degenerating into a mob? I would think a community center would be a pretty low value target, compared to government buildings (political target) or business (financial target). Only reason to attack it is because it's there, not because anyone selected it.

Look at all those future republican voters in the cars, lol

People won't even realize this is going to happen until after the election. The people who will do this will play it close to the vest and are likely to even tell pollsters that they plan on a straight-ticket Democratic vote. They'll only tick those GOP boxes with the curtain pulled at the polling place.

Honestly, this is one of the reasons I don't like the idea of mail-in voting. It's easy for households with mail-in ballots to have everyone do it at the kitchen table, and what, you want to do it in secret, do you have something to hide?

The privacy of the ballot box means you can betray your friends or family to do what your conscience tells you is the right thing, and no one will find out. You only have to answer to yourself.

When we lose that, we lose something crucial about voting.

Agree about the mail in voting, but I'm more worried about someone in the household hoarding the ballots, filling them all out, and handling it all on their own all while everyone else is wondering where their ballot is and blames the USPS for fucking it up instead of their own house goblin.

I'm aware who chesterton was. He was a distributionist.

My problem with both socialism and capitalism is both lead to monopolies. The former leads to a political monopoly and the later leads to a monopoly on wealth. The centralization of either often allows for a small group of people with anti social tendencies to have too much control over society and at everyone's expense.

The only way to deal with either situation is disrupt the status quo time to time so both political and financial capital can be decentralized.
I'm not sure if capitalism leads to monopolies. I used to agree 100% and while I still have issues with the system, reading/listening to Nassim Talib has reinforced the idea that crony capitalism (henceforth crapitalism) is what we've been under for decades and the goverment bailing out companies and interrupting the otherwise natural cycle of businesses dying off is more of the problem with current real world economics and monopolies.

In short the theory is crapitalism is why the formation of monopolies occur. Goverment bailouts and regulations(unnecessary ones not necessary ones) inculcate and save businesses when otherwise bust. That said Talib is also a localist(distributionist) and I tend to lean that way as well.

The New York Post is trying to justify Halfnig McSuckerkick assaulting Adam Haner.

Yeah, people aren't having it and have ratioed them accordingly.

When this all started, people asked me why I don't support BLM.

And my stock answer to not supporting a political movement is always "because political movements always go too far, without fail".

Here we are, we have innocent people getting the shit beat out of them, with the media trying to make excuses for it, and a huge wave of antisemitism that has poisoned the movement. And that's to say nothing for all the rioting and looting that has literally been going on for months now.

So go on. Please tell me how its morally right for me to throw my hat in that with lot. And I ask again, they're attacking bystanders that have nothing to do with anything, the Jews who, as far as I can tell, have nothing to do with George Floyd or police brutality, and small business owners in these cities, many of them black. How is that, at all, justified?

And if I'm wrong and they haven't gone too far, then how far is too far? When are they finally going to do something that crosses the line?

For the first time in my life, I wish I lived in CA just so I could vote for this guy.

Summary, the purge is being taken as more of a lesson, and masked individuals killed Djibril Diol, 29, and Adja Diol, 23, and their 2-year-old daughter, Khadija, as well as Djibril’s sister, Hassan Diol, 25, and her infant daughter, Hawa Baye, who were members of the 'Senegalese Muslim community'.

Despite the sedan used to escape, sounds like some jogging may have been occurring.

That just sounds like good ol' Muslim boys settling a score with a neighbour who's practicing a slightly different variant of Islam. Just like back in the old country.
