UMich Students Demand 'No-Whites-Allowed' Safe-Space To Plot "Social Justice" Activism

The demand is one of several lodged by “Students4Justice,” who this month ratcheted up campus demonstrations to pressure administrators to cave, complaining in a newly launched petition that President Mark Schlissel has snubbed their demands.

The clamor for a segregated space for students of color to organize social justice efforts comes even as the public university builds a $10 million center for black students in the center of campus.

In their demands, students explain why the new black student center is not enough, “because we want a space solely dedicated to community organizing and social justice work specifically for people of color.”

“We want documentation of past, current, and future student activism and this should be a permanent space that is staffed, and has resources for students to organize and share resources,” the demand letter states.

The self-declared progressives are just a bunch of fashist, authoritarian thought-police thugs.
The feminist branch is deeply chauvinistic with how they deny women in general to possess any kind of agency or responsibility of their own.

Why is it always black people? I mean seriously, my university consists of an over 18% Asian population and they never complain about not being represented. The Japanese and Korean Clubs over there put on some very intellectual and fun events that don't involve the words "white people are evil". Native Americans make up less than 1%, and sure sometimes they are frustrated that there aren't more associations for them but that's just due to numbers. Small amount of students = shit funding. It's common sense, not racism. They understand this and don't start protesting because they know it's not the school's fault.

We have given these ungrateful dipshits Black History Month, MLK Day, degrees in Africana Studies, and have also desegregated schools making them equal to average white students in terms of access to education. They are the only racial majority to make a stink about virtually everything that doesn't go their way. I just don't get it.

I'd imagine Umich has some kind of code of student behavior, and there's probably a line in there somewhere the PC crowd put in it in the 90's about how no one student can be excluded from activities on campus on the basis of race, obviously as a way to keep those racists from starting a KKK KLub.... if so, time to turn their own guns against them and watch them chimp about how it's okay when THEY are the racists.

What's funny is University of Michigan and UM Law School were the universities where Supreme Court cases (Gratz v. Bollinger and Grutter v. Bollinger) set the limits of affirmative action (rejecting an automatic "point" system that gave points by race for admission but upholding a law school admission policy that used it as just one among many factors without being a quota system).

So the Regents there are probably well aware of exactly how costly, lengthy and expensive it is to litigate constitutional cases related to race and, as pointed out previously, the student body is jam packed full of students whose parents are East Coast lawyers who would sue at the drop of a hat if they did anything this fucking stupid.

So the brats can squall all they like. They're not getting their illegal concessions.
