I agree, Asterisk is just one of the many excellent users here who should be unbanned.

Asterisk was a user infamous for chimping out over circumcision. In that context your post looked like bait. I don't believe for a second that you can have been here since 2013 and not known this.

Believe what you like. I had no idea who Asterick was. I guess you can say that my post was off color or in poor taste but it had absolutely nothing to do with him, nor was it my intention to become involved in your personal fight with him. If I post in the future I'll try and censor myself so I don't trigger you.

You didn't trigger me and i have no problem with Asterisk, it wasn't me who banned him. We just delete baitposts and shitposts in deep thoughts as a matter of course as the sub has a poor history of baiting and shitposting. : DDDDD would be pretty much impossible without curbing people who are looking to make others mad because it means that the threads fill up with two users ebin baiting each other :ruse: rather than the actual topic that is being discussed. Of course, you could dispute the fact that we have spaces of moderation-enforced serious discussion on our comedy-centric website, but that's another issue.

*Ast-Man* is one of the posters representing the trend where people take a disagreeable sperg and try to goad him into making himself Halal. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty funny when they can't control their anger, but it ends up being a tenfold more discruptive to discussions overall when they get intentionally harassed by people instead of getting naturally angry.
