Yeah, also on the subject it felt too much like a rehash of the original Undertale story. On top of all that we already know it ends with Clover dying so nothing really matters. It's hard to give a shit when you already know nothing you do matters.
>BUT BOB IT'S NOT ABOUT THE DESTINATION IT'S ABOUT THE JOURNEY!
Shhhhh, shut the fuck up nigger. This isn't Red Dead Redemption 2, Clover is no Arthur Morgan so it's hard to really give a shit when he croaks. On top of that Ceroba is kind of a shitty character too that felt hard to sympathize with. So if I'm supposed to feel bad for her, I don't. I mean the dumb bitch got talked into killing her own daughter essentially BY said daughter and then makes it everyone else's problem. Fuck off.

I honestly think Undertale Yellow only gets so much praise because it's one of the few fan games that are actually original (Or at least TRIED to be and failed, most fangames are just AU slop. While it IS kind of a rehash of original Undertale making it a prequel story was kind of an interesting concept. Too bad they didn't do anything that interesting with it.) and actually got fucking finished. Many fan games get abandoned long before they're ever finished because the devs give up and are too lazy to finish what they started. So there's not exactly a lot of competition.
Clover survives in the Genocide ending.

I love how this thread ranges from genuine admiration for the games, to shitposts about susie being a commie or frisk chucking bricks at trannies.

I enjoyed what Chapter 3 was doing but it felt like a downgrade from the main gameplay loop, especially after like 3 years of waiting.
Chapter 4 was far superior because the bad guy wasn't a le wholesome tumblrino quirkchungus and the actual gameplay, plot and fights were superior. The Titan is my favorite Toby Cox boss personally.

Chapter 3 felt like a filer episode, but a cool filler episode like the driving school one in DBZ.

Chapter 3 and 4 being released at the same time completely undermined chapter 3. If Toby had released chapter 3 in June and waited till December to release 4, people would look more fondly on 3. There was nothing to speculate about since the cliff hanger ending was immediately progressed when you started chapter 4 immediately after. A 6 month wait would've had given ppl time to speculate about the potential story shift coming up.

I don't think Toby will have the balls to write an absolutely evil villain like the King in chapter 1. Not only his religion/cult (leftardism) forbids that as they believe only their political enemies are truly evil (while everyone else are poorly misunderstood), but the Titans are pretty much robots, forces of a (chaotic) nature that they can't be reasoned with and only destroyed. I would love it to see someone truly evil with no/few redeeming values, but it's unlikely to see this in Western industry anymore. Even Chara could be argued that he became evil due to the players' actions (and he was white, kek).
Spamtom was also flanderized in Chapter 3, but at least his scene is very hidden at least.

I dunno, 3 is a good appetizer, but the main course was chapter 4.

People would of been pissed. The reason Chapter 3 and 4 were released together is because Chapter 3 isn’t big enough to warrant seperate release. The Knight already carries Chapter 3 hard, might as well pair it with chapter where they’re the main antagonist.

I don't know if we really need one. Flowey was that and had a lot of screen time in Undertale, with how many characters and things we have going on in Deltarune, with only three chapters left to give everything a satisfactory conclusion, a "Haha I am evil and want to KILL Hometown!" Villain would probably be a waste.
