Are you a member of the Russian UTDR community too?
I mean, I mostly just watch Russian UTDR content but don't interact much with the Russian community, but it's still pretty cool and much better than the western UTDR community at large.

It's also pretty popular here. I remember when I was at my uncle's wedding one of the guys there showed me undertale on his laptop. And me and my younger brother both like UTDR and send memes to each other. As well as the fact there is a lot of Deltarune art on Wplace when I zoomed in on my city (With no trans flags in sight!)

Also, a while back there was also a theatric play of Undertale in Russia, go check it out if you haven't seen it:
It got English subtitles, too

That stage play is pretty nice, reminds me of the one they did of The Amazing Digital Circus (I think it was in Mexico).

And correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Russian language there is no 'gender neutral' pronoun for non-binaries to use. So there would be no actual way to refer to Kris as being non-binary (he isn't), and thus it can't be expressed, so everyone there just uses what Kris appears to be, which is a teenage guy. The very concept of being non-binary doesn't exist in a lot of languages. Is that actually a big filter that prevents trannies and genderspecials from making it into these language-locked fandoms?

Very interesting phenomenon.

i mean, they/them is a thing but its used more as "multiple people" and not "non-binary" bullshit, and even if it was used by some as refer to "non-binary", nobody would give a shit anyway and refer as "he" or "she", depends on what topic and who people talk about

My ranking of hometown residents based on how likely a Chinese person would eat them:

蛇羹 (shé geng) – Snake soup:

Firs’, you take Jockington—him wiggly, him long, him fresh from football game. You got to bamboo him—take big stick, pang pang pang until him no more wiggle. Den you boil water with gingah, spring onion, and secret spice—ah, so fragrant! Slice snake meat thin, put in pot, simmer slow-slow. Add shiitake mushroooom, bamboo shoot, and little bit shaoxing wine for kick. Last, you make cornstarch water, pour in to make soup thick-thick. Eat with cracker and cilantwo—wah, so yummy, make you strong like snake!

血豆腐 (xuè dòu fu) – Blood tofu:

Oh, Berdly—him so smug, him so feathery, but inside him got special red juice for tofu! First, you catch Berdly when him doing gamer rant. Shh, quiet—den you chop chop chop quick, collect fresh blood in bowl with salt, let set until firm like jelly. Cut into cube—dong dong dong—den you fry with garlic, chili, and doubanjiang until skin crispy outside, soft inside. Put in clay pot with leek and pig intestine if you feel fancy. Simmer with chicken stock, little sugar, little dark soy—color so nice, red like Berdly after lose game! Serve with steamy rice—one bite, you feel power of gamer bird soul inside you!

Ahhh, so delicious, so home! Next time we cook dog and cat. 再见!

Well, you can technically use "они/их", but the problem is that some words change depending on the subject being singular or plural. So you'd have to make a sentence that sounds like talking about multiple people, which is a lot more awkard than just swapping a pronoun.

So, while technically you can do it. It's just far more simpler to use normal gendered pronouns, so most people just use gendered pronouns.
