I know I'm kind of late to this drama and I'm not a huge Deltarune or Undertale fan but I would like to share my thoughts.

I find the whole drama to be a nothing burger. However I disagree with people saying there shouldn't be a Spanish translation, or whatever. I believe translating your projects / art will allow more people to connect to your work. One of all time favorite films was created in Spain and all of voice acting was in Spanish, however they decided to get a U.S distributor and translate and dub all of audio and subtitles in English and I would probably never heard of that film if they didn't chose to distribute it in the U.S.

I find Tobyfox decision to not include a Spanish version to be fine. Its probably the same for people who don't want to include an English version in foreign games, films, books, etc. Again I find this drama to be a nothing burger and I think the people who overreact and say that the people defending Tobyfox for not including a Spanish translation are a bunch of heckin xenophobes, nazis, or whatever. Are a bunch of terminally online faggot nigger monkeys.

At best, it's dated terminology to claim it's fascist. Most people, save for art historians, don't give a shit about what the actual Nazis called "degenerate art". That's likely a charitable interpretation, though; in reality, he probably thinks insulting furfags for drawing porn is Nazi-adjacent.

That's what surprises me the most, cuz latinos (or at least brazilians) aren't strangers to fan-translations at all, in fact, we thrive in them. That's how we even managed to get videogames in the early 90's to the 2000's, with it being a cycle of a few basement dwellers who knew how to create romhacks and translate them from English -> Portuguese, make their own cartridges and then sell them in shady flea markets.

Almost all of our brazilian/spanish let's plays are patched versions of the game, which also includes Undertale.

And if the post below is actually true, Foby Tox even acknowledged and praised a brazilian fan-translation of the game through email, saying that he loves the positive attention UT gets from Brazil. But couldn't implement into the game since... yeah he doesn't speak the language lol.

I get why they're pissed that there's no overpriced concert from a game made 10 years ago... but come on now, creating an entire FNF mod just to call Toby a filthy racist jew (because being antisemite is socially acceptable now) is very loser behaviour.

I'm telling you, after chapter 3-4 got released, with the whole trans Raisel and pedo Dess, this fandom just got 10x more retarded.

"Rift of the NecroDancer" added an Undertale DLC
It includes a few Undertale tracks: Hopes and Dreams, Death by Glamour, Bergentrückung, Battle Against a True Hero and Megalovania, as well as Spider Dance as a seperate free track. With corresponding character cosplays:

Now I couldn't really find Toby Fox making a direct statement about the DLC. The closest is the statement made by the developers themselves:

Because of the cosplay approach due to Toby Fox being incredibly stingy with game cameos with characters from his games, let's just sat led to some people not being very happy with it.

I think the reason Toby avoids putting direct cameos is that he's trying to pull some "characters moving between games" shitck. Since Deltarune states it's a pararell story to Undertale, and some other stuff.

Latins sure have a lot of time if they can get so mad for the translation. The game is still unfinished anyway.
Also, a fucking Dreemur, a White Goat, as a niggress. Worse, it's Asriel, a guy.
Toby wanting imitate Osamu Tezuka and similar would be fun if his stuff didn't take forever.
 
Given how annoying people who make being a UT/DR FanTM a load-bearing part of their personality are, I support Toby in his quest to be picky about how his characters are used since it upsets them so much.

That's actually Asriel.
It says in the character box right under the portrait.

I assume they decided to use what characters they have in the game. Which lead to a black Asriel.
I find it funny they decided to go with Asriel instead of Toriel though, I wonder why.
