I saw some posts here talking about people hating on Ralsei.

I personally love the character since I tend to love characters that are like cursed with knowledge and how useful he can be in situations on the plot, but I can see why people can hate on him for being a faggot. (a lovable faggot but still)

There is one instance that his goody two-shoes attitude ticked me off for some reason and it's when he change the letters of the Raise Up Your Bat song in Chapter 3, replacing it with colorful lyrics because the original lyrics were too explicit for him, even though there wasn't anything that explicit when you read the lyrics.

I don't know why that part makes me roll my eyes lmao Maybe it's because how corny and sugary the lyrics are, maybe is because Ralsei changed the lyrics on a song that probably Kris is fond to because it reminds him of Dess or is because he reminded me of PC people and how everything has to change to accommodate them, almost in a flanderized way. Like, get a grip, Ralsei.

Answering Nicholas II about Ralsei censoring Raise Up Your Bat for no apparent reason, after seeing that Ralsei really didn't want Kris and Susie to fully know about the prophecy implies that the lyrics may have some relation to the prophecy.

Shizo-Theory of mine, but I don't think this is how it really works.
The real darkness has an to date unknown source located underground inside the shelter that runs a tunnel system under the whole city, and stabbing the ground just sorta opens a small way for it to leak overground. Normally, when there wouldn't be darkness in the shelter, you couldn't create a fountain just by stabbing the ground.
