I'm late to the party, but it caught my attention how the dresser in the room Ralsei made for Kris has flavor text about "you could wear whatever you want..." or such. I started thinking Kris must wear Asriel's hand-me-downs and then remembered child Asriel in Undertale wore a sweater suspiciously similar (though not identical) to Kris's.

What I'm getting at is, maybe Ralsei is the sweater? Both fluffy, both with a connection to Asriel, and perhaps both are... comfy, I guess? And Ralsei's DOWN sprite is just a pile of clothes... It'd be something always with Kris at all times that wouldn't show up in the inventory and that most players wouldn't question.

I'm pretty interested in Kris's view of Ralsei though. He gets the least HP from Ralsei Tea (aside from his own), and it's only 10 HP more than Ralsei gets from Noelle Tea despite those two not interacting. That and the post-secret boss scene suggests it's a pretty lopsided friendship...

Kris can create dark fountains.

Ralsei has a fountain that every darkner can live with.

It's not hard to see why Kris isn't fond of him.

Every other Darkner has a counterpart in the lightworld. (Cards, Computers and the Seam doll)

Ralsei being able to recreate Kris' room makes sense if he's made entirely by whatever stuff Asriel left behind.

Kris's room has all of Asriel's trophies and accolades with shared stars, the moon is not present. The placement of the photo/lamp/trophies implies this is either a simple asset flip or its meant to be literally Asriel's half mirrored.

Do you mean to say Asriel? Ralsei, as far as we know, is confined to the dark world and has no life outside of it.

That's a good point. I noticed the trophies were like the ones from Asriel's wall but I didn't realize that the room is basically a 1 for 1 flip of the bedroom without Kris's stuff and the computer.

So it's basically the student-flavored ice cream bit from the Wayside School book huh? Kind of unexpected that Kris is most into Susie. And in fact Susie flavor is pretty much the best overall.

I thought I was going to be a clever Kris and bring two broken swords to the cakesmith to get them repaired, but nah. I wonder if his magic hammer can fuse Kris and the SOUL together. Seems like it would solve a lot of problems.

Except Kris really gives off the impression that he wants nothing to do with the soul, we're the invasive species.
 
Still thinking about eggs/pipis, they are clearly made out of some entity. Pipis in the cyberworld is fractional bits of Spamton. When they crack in the fight tiny spamton faces pop out and multiple redundant copies of himself in the context of the internet could be seen as "Spam". The eggs (you) are given could easily be the bits of gaster the followers have, ominious that you can put them in the supermarket for the community to eventually consume. Could the ability to "SAVE" be related to the use of the eggs?
