Pretty much the only time ever that Toby has gotten politicalSeems like standard BLM affair. Is that all?
I've seen some people also not wanting Undyne back for being a cop and not wanting cops in-game in general.Pretty much the only time ever that Toby has gotten political
Ok but has Toby ever actually responded to these clowns?I've seen some people also not wanting Undyne back for being a cop and not wanting cops in-game in general.

I'm certain that he hasen't, I've haven't played chapter 2 myself. I'm mostly showing how uptight these people are about fictional characters being in a profession that they deem as a bad thing.Ok but has Toby ever actually responded to these clowns?
Undyne is still a cop in Chapter 2...
Undyne in a white undershirt with lowhanging pants would fit the Spear of Justie betteer.I'm certain that he hasen't, I've haven't played chapter 2 myself. I'm mostly showing how uptight these people are about fictional characters being in a profession that they deem as a bad thing.
Just to clarify: Toby wasn't in any way responsible for writing Homestuck, that was Andrew Hussie. Toby was just a musician.I don't really have high expectations for the guy behind Homestuck of all things, Sans Undertale 2: Electric Boogaloo Chapter 2 having lesbians mashed into your face was a long time coming considering the hefty amount of "feedback" to the relationships of the first game.
He has fucked up a few generations of kids already, nothing is stopping him from fucking up the current one.
Just admit you like yuri. You aren't fooling anyone. It's fun seeing the rage people have about Deltarune having some lesbians in it. Like all tumblr projects. Except Omori somehow.
Like even if it’s written a bit cringe or whatever, you people acting like it’s the worst thing ever that will completely ruin the game forever sound exceptional.
We appreciate your honesty.Lesbians bad! REEEEE!
There's more to Deltarune than the "lesbian teen drama". Even if it's cringe, it's not enough to ruin the experience. Maybe Toby will screw things up in the next three chapters but we'll have to wait until then. For now, all I can say is that one of the last things I remember from Undertale is the lesbian romance subplot. One of the first things is Sans "Megalovania" Undertale. It's fun seeing the denial people have about Deltarune devolving into a lesbian teen drama. Like all tumblr projects. Except Omori somehow.
The reasonable response to a counterargument. You could've elaborated upon what you said a little rather than throwing out accusations like that.Just admit you like yuri. You aren't fooling anyone.
>Why is the romance between two teenagers written like cringy teen drama? It's fun seeing the denial people have about Deltarune devolving into a lesbian teen drama. Like all tumblr projects. Except Omori somehow.
I think it's part of a character arc.I was fine with how Alphys/Undyne was handled in Undertale. Having the date scene was much better than having 93% of Noelle's dialogue being "I got the hots for the purple lady". It really bugged the hell out of me how Noelle disregarded everyone but Susie for most of chapter 2. At least Berdly drove a wedge between that any time he showed up. Real MVP, he is.
Edit: Heck, maybe Noelle's unhealthy obsession will be expanded upon in a reasonable manner, if that's meant to be a part of her character arc.

I hope to christ this happens and Toby explores Noelle's interest in Susie. Deltarune feels more to me like Toby is trying to deconstruct what he brought to the table with Undertale and Undyne and Alphys having the idealistic lesbian relationship shouldn't be excluded from that. The only problem is the fact that the game is being released bit by bit so as of now all I'm seeing is Toby shoving lesbian shit down our throats to the point where it messes with the pace of the story. As I said before: if you're going to add this sort of relationship and put lots of emphasis on it to your work (excluding porn because viewers are there strictly to watch others get it on) then you must give the audience a reason to care about the two characters becoming lovers - otherwise it feels more like pandering.I think it's part of a character arc.
With all Noelle's going through, of course she's going to have an unhealthy obsession. Noelle hasn't had much life experience and has a lot of stress to deal with at an early age. Maybe she sees Susie as someone she can be more herself around rather than trying to keep up appearances, seeing that Noelle's kind of forced into being the top-of-the-class goody two-shoes almost everyone expects her to be.
While the context doesn't make the romance subplot any less cringey, it at least makes sense why it's there. Maybe it'll get more tolerable later on, maybe not... we'll have to wait and see. They may not even stay a couple in the end.
