Eh, Flowey had six human souls at this point. He was basically at the same strength he was at the Neutral Run boss battle, so I can buy they were all pretty screwed.

So I actually managed to find Gaster in some little room after fucking around a little. He just kinda did something incomprehensible and poofed away. Also there's a really slow and creepy song hidden in the sound test that's apparently named after him. Seems like a lot of effort to put into a character to not actually put him in the game, but I guess it works with his whole "erased from existence" story. Gotta say though, even if he doesn't officially exist, he's probably my favorite character because of how mysterious he is and I love how they handled him.

Much like how a lot of stuff in Undertale is sorta meta in that "gamey" things become the game's reality, Gaster can be seen as how cut content exists in the reality of a game world.

A lot of people think he's some kind of weird play on the cut content shit, I think they had an idea for him, realized the story had too many characters and cut him but added clues to his previous role and said that he's everywhere and nowhere at the same time
But it's not polite to talk about people who are listening

It's ironic, considering the simple message of the entire game: you don't have to kill anyone, and you can be friends with anyone if you just show some mercy, determination, and kindness.

I.e. you don't have to be a little bitch.

Guess people forgot the memo
