I've spent most of my genocide play through on a desktop with an awful keyboard, so when I got to sans I never got past the first set of attacks. It wasn't till I switched my save to my gaming laptop that I made it till the end for some reason.

The first time I made it past him mentioning his special attack, I was so surprised! I even made it to his ring of gaster blasters. I was doing so well, I got really excited I'd finally beat him! Until I got caught up going around the third round or so.

I screamed 'fuck' so loud, I think my parents heard me from the basement that day.

Man, I'm so glad a friend had me listen to Spider Dance. Led me to pick up the game, and it was pretty fun. A couple clunky fights and some heavy handed writing, but the experience is pretty solid. The bosses and soundtrack steal the show, though. Got what I assume is the neutral ending, so I'm going on a pacifism run.

Got Undertale in the Steam Lunar New Year sale this week and so far have got up to Asgore on a pacifist run.
Can't really add anything new to what's already been said about the game, so I'll just say that I rather like it.
 
an awesome game, got a pacifist ending on my first play through, at least after the obligatory neutral ending,

Don't have the heart to do another, at least on my computer, especially since id only do if for genocide. Im okay with that though because as an actual game, its not that fun, but as an experience, like words cannot comprehend how much i enjoyed it.

This game had the best soundtrack in anything that I played at all last year.

I'm feeling the same way, yet at the same time I want to do the genocide run.

I'm so conflicted.

Is a genocide run even possible on the first playthrough? One of my coworkers is murdering everyone while claiming the game is easy (and rightfully so, at the start) and I'm kind of hoping Undyne or Sans blows him out. But I had heard only neutral was possible on a first playthrough.

Genocide is possible, Pacifist is not. That's what they mean by Neutral is only possible on your first run (they're technically wrong). Moreover, you have to complete Neutral to unlock Pacifist.

Supposedly it is. I really like to imagine that some JRPG autist out there with no knowledge of the game grinded in the ruins trying to get an unfair level and had a very confusing experience of being treated as a soulless monster through their first playthrough.
