Also, I really hope we get some king of character gimmick with Asgores flowers in his fountain. Maybe they're like... his royal guard.

FennekinFox's critiques are so nitpicky to the point of being unreasonable (or are just him being disingenuous in his interpretations of story details and critiquing them based on that purposeful misrepresentation) but he refers to Kris with masculine pronouns which pisses off the worst fans of this series so I'm afraid I have no choice but to call him based and agree with everything he says.

I don't know how the kris nonbinary bullshit became such a hardline issue in the fandom to begin with.

As of now it's literally just fan shit. In-game Kris is referred to using they/them. That's it. Kris never claims to be non-binary, nor does any character refer to kris as non-binary, and the narrative never once addresses Kris's identity at all. Kris being non-binary is never mentioned a single time, by any character, in any way, in any context.

It's JUST that Kris is called they/them in gameplay, which is the case with a bunch of other video games to save time on writing out alternate text and giving room for the player to connect the dots themselves. It doesn't automatically mean the character is canonically non-binary, that's fucking nonsensical. There's just as much evidence for Kris's identity being left to interpretation because it's an interactive medium and the player and Kris being dstinctly different is key to the narrative. Kris isn't actually non-binary, he's just kept vague enough to not be you.

But everyone acts like Kris being non-binary is a 100% confirmed set in stone part of the character and if you don't pronoun police everyone who dares not use the ""correct"" pronouns then you're an evil bigot and not a true fan.

If Kris was actually intended to be non-binary canonically then Toby Fox would've cleared it up 7 years ago. He would lose absolutely nothing by just coming out and saying it if that was his intention, he's surrounded by troons and shitlibs and the overwhelming majority of his fanbase would suck him off even harder if he did. The fact he's been deathly silent on the subject tells me that no, Kris was NOT intended to be canonically non-binary, using they/them is just easier to impliment and it's left to the player. But if he ever says that publically he'd be invalidating the last 7 years of le heccing valid non-binary cirlejerking pronoun-policing inquisitions his fans have taken upon themselves, which he absolutely cannot do.

So silent he remains.

If Kris being called they/them in text means he's canonically non-binary, then him having yellow skin must also mean he's canonically chinese. That's the level of retarded we're on with this.

Something weird I've noticed about the nonbinary kris people is that they seem to have fooled themselves into thinking people calling Kris a he is because they are self inserting or don't understand that Kris and the soul are different entities, when it's simply because Kris is straight up written like a guy, specially when it comes to stuff like his relation with Asriel or how Toriel treats him.

Anyone who calls Kris a 'he' is a guy? They're misgendering half the fanbase instead of Kris - good work, gendies.

This is the same crowd that says, "pronouns don't equal gender." It's whatever they feel like.

Were they ever this rabid with Frisk? I was late on the Undertale train (used to share my Steam with my little brother who bought it so I booted it up one day as a joke around 2017/2018 and actually ended up liking it lmao) but the impression I got is that the fags who did consider Frisk non-binary at least generally acknowledged that it was their headcanon, despite it being revealed at the end of the pacifist route that Frisk is their own person (iirc). Even with that detail it was still widely accepted that Frisk is as much of a blank slate as humanly possible for you to project yourself onto. The only reason I can imagine that they INSIST on it being canon with Kris is that him being his own person is far more pronounced in the plot of Deltarune than it was with Frisk in Undertale.

It's people who currently lack a job, or if they have one, they have too much free time. Couple that with the cancer that is mainstream social media + internet, and you have this discourse.

Guys lets stopping talking about trannies. Lets talk about how Undertale and Deltarune has Race mixing propaganda by making Asgore and Toriel, one of the few same race straight couples, a bitter divorced couple and having Toriel rebound with someone outside her race, a skeleton.
LoL, true!

I guess Kris does wear ribbons, but that’s more-so us telling him to wear them and he can’t go against what we say.
I like how the top 3 google results don't even list the price, it just gives you a bunch of links to listings without actually telling you a number. Great work google.

There’s no “let me Brave search that for you”, but have you tried clicking on the first link? The one that says “store” where you can buy the game for a specified price?

I've already posted the price here before, Snarky McGee. I'm just laughing at google not actually giving the answer to the question and requiring you to just click on a storefront anyway.

Because they is used for NBs already, and there's an unreasonable hatred towards men these days, even though Kris is most certainly a guy, from clothes, to looks, to behavior.

My nephew watched me play deltarune a couple of weekends ago. He kept calling kris a he. "Why does his mom look like that?" "Is he friends with a dinosaur?" I didn't feel the need to correct him with this they/them bullshit. If one of those septum nose wearing fags were in my shoes. They would make an 8 page google doc about how an 8 year old misgendered an 8bit video game character.
