The best solution would still be Susie forming her own harem, with how much everyone wants to fuck her.
They really should just learn from Roulx.
It’s funny how of all the things in the Spamton Sweepstakes that could have been Chapter 3 foreshadowing, the “Mr. and Mrs. and Throuple Cutting Board” was one of the important ones.

It's double foreshadowing because at some point they make a dark world at the hospital and explore the horrors of circumcision.

Yeah there's a few reasons I think the knight is an amalgamation of Kris's soul and Dess, and this is one of em.

1. The knight kidnapped Undyne outside of the dark world as well. I think she would've struggled better against any of the other lightners(Except maybe Asgore), but human/monster soul combos were said to be much stronger than a monster or a human in UT which would explain why its able to get away from Kris/Susie so easily while carrying someone who should be struggling hard.

2. Noelle mentions Kris doing the heart rip thing when he was much younger too. I think he legitimately figured out how to remove his own soul back then, giving him the means.

3. The ending song is likely literal. "Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark" is a reference to kris's soul literally being part of Dess. Plus "with the truth, the promise in our hearts". "Don't forget Kris, you promised..."

My thoughts are Dess and Kris went into the shelter(Kris seems to know where codes are and stops us from seeing them and even warns about the guitar to mystery voice) and they accidentally found the dark world there. My guess is the shelter has some of gaster's equipment in it. It did play his theme when you were near it in earlier chapters. Gaster's experiments in UT mentioned Dark Darker Darker still, which seems to be a reference to the dark world given Ralsei's explanation of it. The shelter's been locked away because the leaders of the town don't want monsters to hurt themselves or touch the equipment.

I think when they got to the dark world, the original prophecy was incorrectly interpreted to be Kris, Ralsei, and Dess. Ralsei knows so much because he was already there on the first attempt, and its also why he keeps telling us to close our eyes, so he can talk to kris without us hearing. Gerson mentions in his secret boss fight that he left his story to the youth to take up the pen and write the next page. But also that they never did. The prophecy went as foretold and the disaster happened. Dess was badly injured as a result or "fell down". At that point I think Kris went to get help. Asgore and Rudy came back with him. Desperate for a way to save her, Rudy tries out the DT machine briefly to make sure its safe. Since it doesn't kill him, they hook up Dess next. Dess however starts to melt like the amalgamations did. At that point Kris, who has been shown to be very protective of his friends, rips out his soul and gives it to Dess, since humans can handle determination. However this presents another problem. Kris no longer has a soul.

I think humans may be like an inverse of UT monsters. In UT monsters bodies remain as dust and even inhabit whatever they're sprinkled onto, but their souls shatter without their body. Boss monster souls can survive outside their body a bit longer. Humans however have a soul that can exist outside the body, however I think the body cannot live forever without a soul in it. I think this is also why Chara wants your soul at the end of genocide in UT. Nihilists can believe that the world shouldn't exist without them, hence why Chara destroys it all at the end of genocide route. Chara doesn't have a soul and knows death is coming soon without the cooperation of your soul. However it sees an opportunity to get yours and offers it to you in exchange for resetting the world. So Kris is keeping us around simply because he needs us to live.

And this is where the vessel comes in. The vessel appears to be some sort of experiment or creation of Gaster.(Probably an attempt to implant a soul in a soulless thing, since they can handle determination injections[Flowey for example]). I think it too was in the shelter. This time Asgore takes action and removes the soul from the vessel to put into Kris to save his life. We know he's capable of rash actions/decisions and he may not have thought about the consequences of doing so. The vessel may have visibly died when it happened, but also Kris is not the same with the new soul in him. The mayor would of course find out about all this and fire Asgore. However, I think they're scared of letting info about the Dess/Kris amalgamation go public and the new hybrid is told to stay inside the shelter until they can fix what happened. Eventually Toriel interrogates Asgore because she's noticed the changes too and the truth comes out to her. This causes the divorce. It also follows the timeline of the Tenna flashback. Dess disappears first, then the mayor(She knows the truth and is very upset about it), then Asgore(Toriel finds out and divorces him). Then Noelle(She noticed Kris just isn't himself anymore), followed by Rudy(He got sick). Rudy and Carol like Kris as much as they do because they know he literally saved their daughter's life.

So Dess/Kris are stuck in the shelter and the dark world that they do have access to and use Kris's body to make dark worlds to avoid getting spotted. Ralsei knows far more about Kris and Dess's plan than he lets on. He's not just talking about the prophecy when he says he knows things he can't talk about. He can't tell Susie the plan. All of the dark worlds have been specifically to trap or involve certain people. Chapter 1 was setup to get Susie to play the role of the monster hero. Chapter 2 was setup to trap Noelle(The actual monster hero) in an attempt to keep her away from everything(This is queen's actual stated goal). Chapter 3 was an attempt to kidnap Toriel(They grabbed undyne instead). Chapter 4 was also an attempt to kidnap Toriel(She was supposed to be at choir practice).

They may be attempting to prevent the codes from being leaked. The tree likely represents the mayor(And carol is in on things), chief of police is undyne, and Toriel may be involved in the deltarune somehow. Her clothes usually have it on them. Also since Asgore was chief of police once, he may know a code as well hence his likely involvement in the coming chapter. All these people are the ones that could get into the shelter and possibly ruin the plan.

If you refer to the unused sprite of a black deer used in the room of the mirror-enemy, it's noteworthy that a member variable of this enemy is called "toriel" that is set to "true" once this particluar enemy is placed. An if clause checking for this very variable later on changes the sprite from a black deer to the blue-eyed monster. The way this is implemented, there is never a condition where the toriel-variable is not true and the deer sprite not to be changed to that of a monster, but that could chage with the release of future chapters.

The ending song is likely literal. "Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark" is a reference to kris's soul literally being part of Dess
Also the leitmotif is all over the soundtrack, even before we hear the song itself at the end of chapter 1, and the part of the song most often "quoted" is the "I'm with you in the dark" part. There's no way that won't have some kind of significance. Also consider that the only instrument in the song is a piano (Kris) and it's sung by a woman (Dess, probably).

Hmm, I wonder if the weird route will be required to get the true ending.
I don't just mean "do the weird route for the true ending"
I mean, "do the weird route on a second save and get to the end and then go through the normal route and something about the second savefile transfers over."
