I'm sure everyone's come across 'slang' terms used in place of common words or concepts that are unique, whether it be from geographical, generational, or genetic differences. I'm interested in some of the more original ones, that aren't widely well-known or commonly used.
Examples: clicker in reference to a television remote(been a long time since remotes have actually made a clicking sound)
Blinker in reference to a turn signal for a car.
Or the obligatory racist/stereotype insults; I've always been partial to jigaboo for black people and jive turkey for generally untrustworthy, unreliable people.
The way I've been made aware these synonyms aren't as common as I thought is having said them to people and they literally have no idea what I'm referring to.
