UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

This is a bizarre line of thought, yes to work your way up in these companies you need to be a psychopath but they are ultimately small fry compared to the head honchos, again the fearful response was evidence of this after Luigi shot Thompson
The whole psychopath argument is just cope, pretty much every corpo does horrendous shit. Are the workers in the chocolate industry better because their child slaves are in the third world? If you work in a corporation chances are you either directly or indirectly abuse someone for profit you don't directly see.

You say that because it's not something YOU will ever deal with, what had been reiterated constantly is an obscene amount of the American public has experienced suffering and loss of loved ones at the hands of denial letters. Healthcare is a regular topic in this country's political cycle because of the problems the current system has. Subhumans like Thompson are rightfully seen as monsters. YOU sit there on your perch and wave your finger at the barbaric plebs cheering for what was an objective act of heroism against a monster who headed a company responsible for so much unneeded death. You say we are acting like niggers? What are we just niggercattle on the plantation to you who should shut up and accept this abuse? YOU sound exactly the same as the journos and media talking heads trying to take Thompson's side. He did have it coming and if most of the country was cheering the day it happened this isn't some random degenerates cheering an atrocity, it was heroism.
A lot of people won't deal with it, whether luck, location or being rich enough. But yeah, the same way I won't validate a black person robbing a white guy because "he's a psychopath" and "you won't understand the systematic abuse we black people experience" (sounds familiar?) I won't consider a guy shooting an unarmed person as a hero.

The idea of someone from the bottom going up hasn't been true for decades. The upper strata of the corporate ladder is based entirely on your social class, and the upper management has never had to engage with healthcare or hear any stories from day to day. If anything, the ones most deserving of the bullet are middle management Karens who actually still get exposed to the human suffering (rather than numbers on a graph) yet remain sociopathically focused on their work life. But I have a feeling that if Luigi gunned down 20 thirty year old women then people wouldn't have put him as much on a pedestal (probably the same if the CEO was a woman).
Yes don’t kill the ones who make the rules. Kill the women trying to survive them.

This is such a disingenuous take. People acting like they're incapable of differentiating situations here. Black people don't suffer at the hands of systemic abuse any more. That's a bullshit lie the press tell everyone, I suspect you know this.

But every single person in this country has experienced, at best, being scammed by these kinds of filth or, at worst, actually had life altering economic hits, suffering or death because of them. The shit-for-brains that got shot was on watch when AI models were being used to say no to people. He was on watch when they changed policies that would mean that people would wake up from operations they thought were covered, only to find that they would end up with massive bills because the operation went on too long

And it would not matter one bit if this had been a female CEO either in many people's eyes. It's the message, that being that actions have consequences, you can't treat people in this way and not get away with it. Too often we see filth like this guy get away with treating people like cattle and reaping the reward that is a life of excess. So it feels really fucking good to see one of them bleeding like a stuck pig. REALLY fucking good.

Luigi will spend a long time in prison, he did it (barring any 4d chess conspiracy coming out) but he's entering, will serve, and will leave a hero to many. I hope he gets 5 conjugal visits a week from a hot chick with no gag reflex daily, and leaves prison to a hareem of 8 big titted women. One per day of the week and a threesome on Sundays

You cant make an omlete without breaking a few eggs but the point of the animosity towards the health insurance industry is what has been reiterated constantly, the system is so corrupt that the entire business and regulatory system is rigged, they do what they please without any consequence and any political will to solve the problem is defeated by lobbyist sub humans. These companies are a cut above normal corpo antics, really from an american perspective not having some degree of hatred for them makes you the odd one out. When the game is rigged the only option becomes to flip the table

Nigger I know you are not from the US but I dont think you were listening when everyone and their mother piping up and saying how they have been wronged by the health insurance industry. The difference between random crime and the assassination of thompson was that thompson objectively DID have it coming, what makes this even more clear cut was luigi had it all, he was born into wealth but he wouldnt tolerate this injustice and decided to become a hero, a REAL hero

"Shut up and take it, dont step out of line"

also what @DJ McHamfist said

I think unless you've lived in the US, or required medical care while in the US, or travelled to the US for medical care, you can't really speak on the evilness of American medical companies. I was too scared to call my doctor when I broke my arm over there because I didn't know how much it would cost me because all my policy documents were so vaguely worded. I ended up looking so pathetic in the CVS minute clinic that they gave me a free arm sling. They told me to call my insurance company before booking another appointment. Not a doctor, some Indian call centre woman who was going to put my monthly price up just for calling.

Think of your fellow man, the one who can't afford the insurance payment every month because he's got a genetic history, think of the 18 year old who had issues as a baby who now can barely find someone to cover them, think of the WW2 vet who has to choose every single month between his medication and heating. I spent hours in the ER after I was discharged, and could tell you a hundred stories. A young woman sat next to me, her face so badly beaten she had to write down her social security number to hand to the receptionist, and was on her phone texting near constantly about how she was thinking about just walking out because she wasn't sure if her husband had been paying the insurance, and she couldn't pay out of pocket.

That is what predatory insurance companies have done to America, and why you don't have to celebrate murder, but instead celebrate the fact someone took a stand before you. Celebrate the fact that scenes like the above might be coming to an end if Luigi Mangione instils enough fear into those CEOs. If you're so angry about Luigi, protest Luigi, you don't have to suck off companies that would rather you die than cost them a few extra dollars to prolong your life. If you're so angry about murder, be angry about murder, you don't have to defend a tax-dodging, fraud-committing, drunk driver CEO. You don't need to create a hero to oppose a villain.

As we all collectively look forward to seeing Luigi tomorrow, there's been a few updates in regards to his trial in Pennsylvania. A pre-trial order of the court has been issued; I believe all this does is outline the lines of reasoning both the defense and prosecution will be putting forward in the trial. Moreover, the Preliminary Call of the List scheduled for the 24th of this month has been cancelled as Tom Dickey is filing some pre-trial motions.

A new documentary on Luigi from Investigation Discovery dropped a couple of days ago, featuring apperances from Gurwinder, the organisers of the GiveSendGo fund and some alleged family friends. A redditor made a summary below: https://archive.is/TdXIa

Speaking of Gurwinder, an eagle-eyed Redditor noted that he made some significant alterations in his article on Luigi.

Luigi subreddits have also collapsed recently due to a mix of power-modding and an insufferable userbase, to no one's surprise. On the largest sub, r/freeluigi, they enforce a strict policy of not sharing anything from Luigi's letters, even if an excerpt was posted outside the subreddit. A Floridian grandma sent Luigi a Christmas card to which he replied, sending Redditors into a tizzy.

Posts were made both on the Reddit pages and the r/freeluigi Discord - while the Discord is a complete hugbox, the powermods received some pushback on the attempted censorship.

The powermod behind r/freeluigi responded to criticism of her moderation of r/luigifever, which was later banned off Reddit.

1000020551.png
1000020552.jpg

All of this culminated in her implementing strict karma and account age restrictions on r/freeluigi in order to moderate comments. It should be noted that the same mod allows for speculation on Luigi's sexual orientation on the subreddit.

Over on Substack, Max/Minor Dissent from Luigi's PhD tweet has decided to release his DMs with Luigi, and is also publishing a four part series on him. Two prologue parts have been posted so far.

Max received significant blowback upon the publication of the first preamble, which led to him clarifying the content of the DMs between himself and Luigi. Karen is also aware of Max and is following him on Twitter; Max claims to be in touch with her.

On Instagram, some lunatic Korean is publishing comics about Luigi pretty much daily portraying MDC as a summer camp as opposed to a supermax prison. Here's an example of her "work":

1000020559.jpg1000020560.jpg1000020561.jpg1000020562.jpg

Even Redditors found the comics distasteful, though initially this sentiment was censored by the powermod.

1000020577.png
1000020578.png

In addition to being a drunk-driving health exec, it seems Brian Thompson was a whoremonger who frequented strip clubs. As if I couldn't respect Luigi more for wasting this guy.

1000020569.jpg1000020570.jpg1000020571.jpg

Finally, I would also like to recommend a Substack publication on Luigi's case called Bartleby on Trial; its author, Ashley Shelby, is an ex-journalist who has done a good job on chronicling Luigi's 2024 whereabouts, giving background on his legal counsel and has even verified that Luigi gave his mother a fake address for TrueCar.

As an aside, this comment by a Redditor sent my sides into orbit.

You forgot the worst one: the fanfiction about his family. This bitch is deranged.
I was planning to do a second post covering some of the fanart/new letters as the other one was getting too long. This woman is legitimately ill. She drew a comic about Plebbitors joining KFA as Luigi's defense.

1000020593.jpg1000020594.jpg

Another specimen concerned the Max/Minor Dissent Substack drama. Redditors were seriously worried that their new boyfriend would be a problematic right-winger.

The line about resiliency is a reference to a letter excerpt that was posted online from one of the first confirmed Luigi Letters.

The most recent confirmed letter is to a woman named Jules. She is a TikToker in her mid 30s.

1000020615.jpg1000020616.png1000020617.png

Some Tumblrinas have claimed to have received letters also. I believe this one as she provided a photo of the signature and it looks identical to the other ones posted. Given that she sent the letter on the 20th of December and he replied February 3rd, that gives me hope that he'll eventually get to my letter lmao (I sent mine January 20th).

1000020601.jpg1000020602.jpg1000020604.jpg1000020612.jpg1000020607.jpg1000020610.png

Another Tumblrette who writes graphic porn of Luigi also claimed to have received one, but she didn't provide a picture of the signature as far as I can see. Given my horrors of Luigi fanfic on Ao3 post I've been thinking of doing a similar one on Tumblr fanfiction, though that might be cheating as what can we expect really?

The new letters are interesting - it seems that he isn't replying to very long or very intimate letters as far as I can tell, and his replies are courteous but not overly-friendly. A lot of his replies revolve around reassuring people he's doing okay despite his circumstances.

In happier news, Luigi's GiveSendGo fund has been doing well, especially after Karen confirmed he intended to use the funds to pay his legal fees. People have donated half a million so far and donations keep pouring in. Donators can leave messages and they range from sweet to sad.

Some donators are taking the time to post fanfiction.

The fund organisers are in contact with Luigi.

There was also this Reddit comment I found interesting; I came across it before but forgot to screenshot it. This man claims to have stayed in the NY hostel Luigi checked into and gave some insight into what it was like to stay there.

1000020556.jpg

Lolcow farm nonas found an art website run by Luigi's sister, Lucia. She posts her paintings here: https://www.luciaartstudio.com/

On the Dave NYC livestream people cheered as Karen came in.
1000021068.png

Redditors truly sent their best representatives (people from r/freeluigi agreed to wear green in the courtroom).

1000021072.png

Luigi has entered the building. Hair is looking a bit crazy. Now we need to see if cameras will be allowed in the courtroom. He looks tired yet is still brutally mogging eveeyone around him. His photogenic-ness needs to be studied.

Luigi left after five minutes lmao. How short was that hearing?
1000021084.jpg

Also some more photos. Luigi looks very tired.

Edit: Karen is speaking outside the court. I'll summarise her points below:
1) Cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, which she wanted.
2) She critiques the state holding Luigi in federal custody when the state trial is going first, which she says impacts her ability to give him counsel. She also raises the point of Luigi being vested and shackled, which she brought up in court.
3) Says that the Manhattan District Attorney's office is providing discovery, but she hasn't received important police paperwork called DD5s (follow up police reports). She also only received the full Altoona discovery today, and that she's concerned that his constitutional rights were violated during the search and seizure process.
4) She claims that the PA hearing on Monday was cancelled as the state refused to transport him.
5) She harshly criticises the Investigation Discovery documentary; she denounces it as prejudicial, particularly the presence of the NYPD Chief of Detectives and Eric Adams, and mentions that she hadn't received the fingerprint forensic discovery referenced in the documentary.
6) She says Luigi is grateful for the support, then departs.

Edit: This is a transcript of what was said in court.

Doing the dude dirty. They'd never do this bullshit to a nigger who violently murders some guy. In fact they'd unshackle him and allow him to yell "GROUNZ" until he gets tuckered out.
I genuinely feel terrible for Luigi - in the same state some illegal can set a woman on fire and fan the flames and he hasn't been railroaded to even a fraction of the degree Luigi has been.

Also, what the hell is going on with the discovery? The media made it sound like they had Luigi dead to rights and Karen hasn't even seen his manifesto yet? Admittedly I know nothing about US law but that sounds sus to me.

And lol, I watched some of the Darrell Brooks trial on YouTube recently. Funny how that retard who not only was insanely guilty and ran over kids and grandmas didn't get hit with a terrorism charge.
