Not only did they get what they wanted in terms of people to counter-protest, they came out of the protests looking infinitely better than the protesters themselves. Yesterday was a huge PR blow to the right-wingers/alt-righters/NEO NAZI PUNKS/etc; they failed to raise interest over the stated reason for the protest and get blamed for all the violence that occurred. That's not to say that the right-wingers weren't responsible for that violence, I just think that both sides of the protest behaved in an incendiary way.

2. The "established right" has been saying for decades that these people are not affiliated with us anyway.
3. The left-wing media will always declare them affiliated because "only right-wingers can be racist".
