Unpopular views about music

I think any song that lists Pitbull as an artist can't have Pitbull in it unless he yells "Mr. Worldwide!" at some point.

And those songs probably aren't that good anyways. Just catchy.

Doesn't he just use the hooks of other songs anyway?
 
If I hear the Beatles or U2 I get so bored instantly.
I love Billy Corgan and every time I tell some music nerd about that I get lectured about how whiny he is. So I've stopped talking to music nerds-- music nerds always hurt my feels. Everything I like is terrible, and everything they like is automatically ear ambrosia.

I don't care for The Wall and some older albums dispite being a massive Pink Flyod fan. I love the songs its just that I can't listlen to it as a whole album much becasue I really don't care much for Roger Water, espceally after I learned about the story of him trying to disband Pink Flyod and all the shit he did the rest of the band memebers, but I also really hate it when he tries to get political becasue it comes off as whiny which is partly the reason I barely listen to Animals. I know Rogers said that he knows what he did wrong and made up with the band and I really don't hate him, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth listening them.

How much more could I agree with this? The answer is none, none more agree.
 
My tastes in music tend to be quite on the kitschy side and as a result, me and "rate the song above" threads do not go along well.

-Rap and hip-hop are the worst genres of music. Especially today's. The only thing that saves some of them is their beat.
-Classic Country is okay. Very soothing.
-I prefer most music from the 30s-50s over 60s-80s.
-Dubstep is good if you want some fun and mindless party music
-I think The Kinks are better than The Beatles

Most music is actually pretty good, even the music thats traditionally "cool" to hate like Top 40 Pop, Disco, Rap, etc. and the only reason people shit on it is to put on this facade that they're better than most people and are "smarter" and more "enlightened" but in reality they're just limiting themselves.
