Unusual music thread - Post the strangest shit you unironically listen to

I found this weird cluster of conspiracy theory rappers years ago. Basically a bunch of 'street philosophers' rapping about reptilians, the Illuminati, 9/11, or the age of Aquarius over lo-fi beats, sample loops, and grungy instrumentals. I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talk about this, it's great (and unintentionally hilarious). It might be schizo but I can't help but enjoy the unhinged lyrics and raw production.

This song in particular sticks out to me in my memory:

Also obligatory shoutout to Yakub

"R U Ready 4 Ze New World Order?" by Michael Anthony. I came to the horrifying realisation not long ago that I get the same level of dopamine from listening to this stupid meme song as I do from listening to regular band music. What can I say? The lyrics are good. It's the perfect length for a novelty song and it's endlessly fun to sing in a mock-German accent.

For something properly weird and avant-garde, I love the soundtrack to The Neverhood. The game it comes from is a point-and-click adventure game that was animated entirely in clay. The composer of the game sought to capture the essence of clay through his music, which I think works quite well. There's a lethargic, lumbering feel to a lot of the music and it oftentimes feels like the byproduct of multiple music genres that have been haphazardly blended together into an amorphous, stylistically indeterminate mess. In other words, it sounds exactly like how sculpting clay feels.

Randy makes some interesting music under many different pseudonyms. He covers so many genres yet keeps the same schizophrenic Francis E Dec tier subjects behind his lyrics.

Wouldn't say this is super unusual but I haven't heard many people talk about this band and I think it's pretty good

Cibo Matto - Black Hole Sun

Cibo Matto is a band from the 90's that was started by two ESL Japanese women that slowly improved in English with each album. In their debut album they did a cover of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun where they sang in French.

Sean Lennon was in the band when they came to my town. Not many people knew him by sight back then. Swell dude.

I think they were brought by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, who were still kinda weird then:

That's cool. The first time I saw Cibo Matto was on some TV show called Viva Variety. They performed the song Birthday Cake. I didn't know until many years later that it was Sean Lennon in the band.
