Fear not! Neither Anna or the other ass patters would actually give enough shits to do something like that for him, if they did care at all, they'd have already done so by now. Plus... look at him! They'd either have to put up a photo of someone else or go through the trouble of going to his place, groom him, wash him (shudder), put him in decent clothing and then take a much more presentable photo of him first. Otherwise just one look at him and any woman with a functioning pair of eyes will say "Fuck. No!". It's too much trouble for the typical ass patter who couldn't even be bothered to send him something actually useful when his house burned down.

As for immunity to pepper spray... I don't think you can't become immune to pepper spray, but I hear people can build up a tolerance for it through constant exposure. If Anna really cares, I strongly recommend she help him build this tolerance first. It's for his own good! }:P

Well that is why he stresses meeting in person quickly. He seems to be aware that he is vulnerable to that and is taking preventative measures.

But he phrased it in an awkward way that could drive people away. He would be much better off not putting it in his profile, and just not doing anything but friendly messaging until they meet in person and get to know each other. It is what all other online daters do.

To be fair, he seemed to try to do that with "Jackie". She made a bunch of requests to him that guys probably shouldn't do before meeting someone. My impression is that he was aware of that and tried to resist/complain, but he didn't really have the mental resources to fully prevent himself from embarrassing himself. Maybe he realizes he has to increase his discipline to avoid shenanigans.

Also, it seems to me that "Don't treat people on the internet as your friends until you meet them" is the most basic advice that someone could give Chris, so I would guess he has heard it from various people like Rocky or Anna. He seems to parrot various versions of it from time to time, and knowing his tendency to repeat ideas from other people instead of coming up with his own, my guess is he has heard it a ton of times.

Unfortunately for him, he is an unusual mixture of stubborn and gullible. If he ever becomes convinced one of his suitors is real, that conviction will be come deep-rooted and he opens himself up for trolling. Despite what he says, it just seems to take a few well-timed compliments/sympathetic comments, and then indignation/anger when your authenticity is questioned.

(I am sorry if this message comes close to breaking the "talking to Chris" or "making trolling plans". It was not my intent to do either, and I didn't realize how close I came to after I finished writing it. I will remove/edit it if there are real concerns)
