Source: I live ~700 miles away from the Venezuelan border, and my town has had a few dozen of them roaming around for the last 3-4 years. They beg so much, and are such entitled parasites and pests, that not even my mother's friend group (composed almost exclusively of retired social workers, a group of people infamous for being left-leaning bleeding hearts and toxic empaths) will suffer their presence.

Default judgements are trivially easy to avoid. You avoid them by showing up in court and doing what the judge tells you to do.

This particular default judgement was huge because Jones had accumulated years of ill will with this particular judge across multiple lawsuits by acting like a massive faggot during discovery. The list of things he did in the judgement is downright embarrassing to read. So what the judge basically ruled, "I am sick seeing your stupid face and dealing with these stupid antics. How much money do I need to fine you to end your business make sure I never have to see you again? Oh, it's almost a billion dollars? Well fine, you owe a billion. Now fuck off."

Jones has subsequently lost all his appeals because it's a default judgement, so the only real question is, "Did you actually show up and do as you're told, the trivially easy thing you needed to do in order to avoid this fine? No, you didn't? Well, sorry, pal."

Alex jones is a bit of a dickhead, and often acted like rules didn't apply to him and thought it was a good idea to shit on the judge in his case. That's never a smart play. That said, dude doesn't deserve a 1.5 billion dollar settlement placed on him.

I have seen examples of so many normie YouTubers suddenly thinking they can talk politics about trump when for years those same people said nothing about Biden, said nothing about Kamala etc, they suddenly started to care when their lefty overlords told them to care.

The same reason you hate normies is the same reason they aren't a problem. They bend to popular movements. Once the wind changes they will go in the opposite direction and that is *normal* behavior. To get mad at that is the same as getting mad that your cat scratched you, your dog pissed, or your horse pooped somewhere. Thats what they do.

It's a nice soft limit on how much one party can swing things and I believe it's a big part on why Trump got elected after the left overplayed their hand super hard during the Biden years

You're thinking in a strictly cause and effect sense which I understand. In that regard yes, maybe normies are the problem due to volume alone.

In terms of which one I hate more, leftists no question. I'm biased because many of my friends and family are normie dems, but even in spite of that normies are just trying to live their lives. They have friends, communities, they care about their jobs and largely want to do the right thing. Being redpilled requires a very specific autism that let you nooootice very specific things, usually online or by exposing yourself to leftists at some point (for me this was being a stoner hippie in college).

I don't blame normies for never having noooticed, how could they have? Leftists primary strategy is to prevent them from nooooticing the wrong things, while forcing them to noootice others. Hell i could as easily blame myself for not trying to redpill my normie friends, it's cowardly on my part.

All the leftists I know genuinely hate me. They are warriors, they will do anything they can to achieve their goals because they think they're always justified. It's an ideology based off hatred that calls itself love, and the way they underhandedly trick normies into supporting them enrages me. I despise seeing innocent naive people get deceived by demons.

Thought experiment: There is a remote control with a button on it. This button will kill you, but give the one who pushes it a million dollars to do with as they please, and they know it will kill you if they push it. Would you feel better having the average normie or the average leftist holding this remote control?

Russell and Acerthorn aren't massive public figures. They're also poor as shit and not huge menaces to the general public. That's not even taking into account that Acerthorn is visibly mentally disabled. You're right that people get away with fucking around in court, like Alex did, and don't have a judge stomp on them. But not everything is equivocable, Alex knew he had a high profile case and should have been more careful. Shit sucks but it's his choices that brought him here.

There will always be a segment of society who don't care about politics a great deal and will ultimately end up going along with whoever is in charge or has the most political influence at any given moment.

This isn't a new development either. Consider this, it has been said that in the American Revolution, one-third of the population were Patriots, one-third were Loyalists and the remainder were neutral individuals who wavered between sides depending on who controlled the territory they were in.

The societal whiplash from this is going to be insane, imagine being a parent told by your doctor that your kid NEEDS to transition or you risk having them taken away, or being a girl in middle/high school who isn’t super feminine and doctors allow you to get your breasts removed and are given testosterone to permanently alter your body instead of just being a tomboy.
