Big cities can have a big influence.

The only reason I did not end up being a libtard was the father of a woman I dated. He built technology I guarantee most of you use or have used.

He red pilled me but not through some political speech shit.

Just a conversation and during that conversation I said something I did not believe and he caught it. He caught it and called me on it.

It was a surreal moment and it broke through years of NYC people shit seeping in. Dude saved me.

The rest of that conversation was like an inoculation.

Edit: Sorry I forgot to put the point in:
I was always politically neutral but because of my job and because I was surrounded by liberals all the time and NY1 all the time and just submerged in it...it almost got me. Most people never meet that guy. They just sink into the shit.
I met that guy too, except mine was Jesus.

Can someone give me the rundown on the whole "Trump's siding with Putin" rhetoric?

Is it really only because he's looking to compromise and end the Ukraine war? And maybe for calling Zelinsky a dictator that one time? (Stupid but whatever) What other evidence is there?

Because to my knowledge, sanctions on Russia are still active. Trump's not making any sort of deals or agreements with them when he could stand to gain a whole lot from doing so.

If there's something more to it, I want to know. I want a real nonpartisan assessment of the situation. But there's been too much "Boy who cried Wolf" over Trump and Russia the past decade that it's hard to get a real feel of the situation.
We went from an (illegitimate) administration that had the view and official policy of "no negotiation, unconditional surrender is all we'll listen to or accept" to an administration that campaigned (and won) on "we want to negotiate peace."

The difference between the two is that if you want peace you have to talk to both sides of a conflict, whereas unconditional surrender is only one side dictating all terms. The whiplash between those two completely opposite positions, coupled with TDS, is how you get "Drumpf is Putin's cockholster."

As for being new, two of the people telling me to lurk moar have a join date less than a year old. That they have aped onto forum culture within A&N to impress strangers on the internet so quickly is interesting to me. Maybe I have cause to accuse quite a few people in this thread of being lolcows. Just a thought.
Lurk moar and stop complaining Account creation doesnt equal time spent on this forum.

To which I say should be fucking obvious. Also Trump is the greatest, and I hear Alberta is jumping the gun to be the 51st state for real good for them!

When he first released the info, he said they aren't marked as dead. That's accurate, and if Trump or Twittards said all those people are getting benefits, that's a false extrapolation (probably). However that data still needs cleaning up. It could be used for everything from identity theft to illegal immigrants lying to employer verification systems.
This is what Elon said he thinks is happening. He said they are not all getting social security benefits (though iirc he mentioned some are) but that the SSNs are being used to get other benefits as a "bankshot".
So it is still problematic they're not marked dead because it means people can still use them, even if they aren't necessarily using them for social security specifically.

Problem is that they're using a sledgehammer on every part of the federal government, like going after the VA and NPS. These are departments that are already strained and are wanted by all parties.
When you have 99 bad apples and 1 good one, the easiest way to fix the situation is to dump the entire crate and pick the good one back up after

Dude. Some of the surgeons working at the VA are fucking butchers and cannot be sued by patients. You have no idea. The good idealistic people at the VA who really care leave. The shit heads who want a easy forever job and don't care stay. The good people are of course good, but unlike any other hospital the bad ones, the ones who really fuck up people, they cannot be sued and never get fired. There needs to be rife investigations and terminations if not criminal charges for some of these people.

A mix of trolls trying to shit up the thread on purpose, people with TDS, and some regulars still pissed at Trump because of the Epstein files.
Sad fact is outside of this thread and some other specific ones this website is much closer to reddit/bluesky hysterics when Drumpf is brought up vs having actual political discussion. I've noticed it more and more recently in other threads but people can't keep their power level in check and more of them are just drive by posting here to vent I guess.

This has been a kind of down point I guess overall. Here is good, but the whole cow market is kind of in the shitter in general. Not much new and all the old ones are pretty much dried up. That comes and goes I guess. I haven't seen too much of the political sperging too bad elsewhere and I hope not to.

I don't know if it had been posted before, but Zelensky backtracked again about peace with Russia, now he is refusing again for no fucking reason.
And there are secret talks with Trump advisers about replacing Zelensky.
Interesting…

IMG_0685.jpeg

Apparently Trump is shopping around for a replacement.

The only problem is that political opposition has been crushed in Ukraine the past couple of years, and the only politicians with a major profile, and contacts in the West, are either old, corrupt, worn failures like Petroshenko or Timoshenko, or extremely hostile to Russia like Petroshenko and Zaluzhny. (Who is not included in the talks. Probably because he’s a British tool, lol!)

(Zelensky’s own party isn’t a real party but just an oligarch funded front.)

The only figure I see being agreeable to both parties, are some of the old hands from the Party of Regions that fled Ukraine. Install one of those as a placeholder for a year or two until there are free elections, and we are good to go.

“The system is broken… NOOOO!!! Why are you smashing it in order to make fundamental changes?!? Can’t you just screw around the edges a little?!?”

I really don’t get you: “Can’t you just PRETEND to do something?!” Folks?

Over 30 trillion dollar debt.
200 TRILLION dollars in unfunded liabilities.
A system so thoroughly pozzed that you have National Park Employees getting paid for making “queer BIPOC” people go camping.

But oh noes! The real problem are the people trying to do something about it!

I didn't expect the Trump admin to completely fuck us over this quickly. When this passes, and it will pass, it will be completely over for all of us. There is no coming back from this.

And of course, nobody is talking about it or doing anything to push back. We're beyond fucked.

What's with all the sperging lately? Did the Trump lolcow and Elon pages break containment?
The Trump admin is on track to legalize debanking after Congress passes the measure. And nobody is saying or doing anything about it. People need to be pissed.

Reminder that the Republicans are not on our side either.
Neither is trump. We all know he's going to sign off on this and seal our fate.

Our boy Josh is mad at the internet and I don't even blame him I am mad at the internet with him

Trump literally threw his supporters to the wolves and empowered the progressive finance Jews to debank his supporters and for what to own Biden. Why is Trump's GOP even wasting time on this.

Because the Jews in fintech are progressive, Hasan will never be debanked it will be the loyal patriots who fought for Trump and tried to build the parallel institutions MAGA needs.

They are Jewish traitors who care more about their Jewish supremacist project in the middle east then America, they would never even think about trying to save you. You and me are nothing but goyim to these people. They weren't happy with the immense privilege given to Jews in America they needed to oppress Goyim even more directly in Israel and now they got punished for it
Seriously, are we just going to bury this? We're literally being fast-tracked to our own demise and nobody is talking about it?
