Ok here is my genuine question about the tariffs plan, what exactly is stopping these companies from just hunkering down until their term end of trumps term and banking on the US population voting blue because they’re pissed at the republicans for making shit more expensive in the short term.

Biden not only kept, but expanded the tariffs from Trump 1. If someone was hunkering down since the initial 2017 tariffs, they'd currently be waiting until 2029 for them to go away.
