Im not going to hold water for the professional porn industry, Im well aware that it devolves into a flesh trade and the regular atrocities that happen behind the scenes, I am also uneasy about how easy it is for children with a computer to intentionally or accidently find porn. The price of enacting any form of a proper identification system in my opinion is far far higher than what we stand to gain from having one. The system cannot be trusted with the power of information control and a vague obscenity ban would be exactly the best tool for the job
