this was a tension that was always going to tear apart the left. there is a fundamental insoluable contradicion between moving towards socialism, which requires central control, and environmentally sound agriculture and energy production, which requires a real commitment to subsidiarity and decentralization.

the only reason the left began to promote environmentalism at all was the impossibility of hiding the total economic failure of the USSR. If you read 20th century literature the sea change in the late 60s and 70s is shocking. There is a point at which the left is completely technocratic, when anything we would associate with environmentalism belongs entirely to cranks and weirdos. Then very very quickly there is an amazingly effective switcheroo and we get the watermelon ideology we have now - green on the outside, red on the inside - where the necessity for revolution to produce a socialist world state is no longer justified on the grounds of improving the material conditions of the worker, since you have to be actually insane to deny that it's capitalism that has done that, but instead the terrifying apocalyptic vision of unrestrained human freedom destroying all the cuddly animals and trees and shit.

However, there is no world in which centralized control and planned economies are good for the enviroment. If you know these people you can see that they've been driven crazy by the contradictions here. You can actually see them or read their words creating a fantasy woowoo world where these contradictions can somehow be resolved.

To be blunt, the actual thing that will happen if something isn't done to rebalance things is that women's standards will be forcibly lowered. I realize you're a gimmick poster and all, but the current situation will not work out well for average women in the long-term, the historical precedent is clear on the matter.

short answer: the SF democratic machine which has been working for decades to take the presidency and control both houses of congress isn't fucking stupid. they thorougly fortified OR and WA while everyone was paying attention to other things.

Time and time again President Trump has been shown to be hesitant to start new wars. and time and time again people panic when He makes the slightest move.

His stance, from the very beginning in 2014 has been no dumb wars, but if there has to be a battle its got to be overwhelming and decisive.

He decreased US involvement in Syria, didn't bomb Iran after they shot down a single drone (despite the NeoCons and media pressuring him too), made strides towards peace with North Korea and tried to mediate with Russia and started to withdraw from Afghanistan which Biden fucked up.

But when He had to he had no hesitation on ordering isolated and overwhelming military force on those who needed it. he launched hundreds of TLAMs against Assad's chemical weapons facilities destroying them. He bombed Qasem Soleimani for orchestrating riots around the US embassy in Iraq. He used the MOAB against the Taliban in Afghanistan. He destroyed ISIS.

these strikes neutralized targets and above all sent the message that while the US might not be in the nation building game anymore it would still bomb the fuck out of people if required.

So I'm not afraid of a repeat of the occupation of Iraq. Trump has been shown to like the use of the Air Force for intimidation and obliteration. So if anything it would be a repeat of the "Shock and Awe" Air campaign against Saddam in 2003. Trump likes to make deals. It's been his whole life. He wanted to make a deal with Russia. He made deals with the Israelis and Saudis. with the north koreans. He'd love to make a deal with Iran. So he's giving them a chance to give up their nukes.

There is no average woman long term. The average woman today isn't having children. The people who are having children are 1) feckless Africans who are already living in your rape fantasy world 2) people with resources in stable relationships who want to have children. The most fucked up NEET can already get a woman from the first group, literally all he has to do is make enough money. What happens to the female progeny of the second group? Historically, no, they don't have their standards forcibly lowered, because they have fathers who prevent that. If there aren't good enough men around they become nuns or something.

Iran doesn't have nukes yet. "Yet", being the key word there. The Iranian regime is getting closer to having nuclear capability, and what both Trump and Netanyahu want to prevent, apparently, is them actually getting nuclear weapons.

I don't think it was even that planned or organized. I think it is the result of the organic migration of liberals in the 70's and 80's who couldn't afford to be elites. The PNW of the 70's-90's, along the I5 corridor between Portland Metro area and the greater Seattle area drew a shit ton of boomers to it who were leftover from the Hippie era but didn't want the crowds/ couldn't afford the expense of the east coast, didn't want to deal with middle American rednecks, and couldn't afford California.

The PNW offered them a place where they could larp as being Environmentally conscious because the whole area at the time prided itself on its rugged beauty, while living (at the time) somewhat less expensively as their Cali counterparts. They got to appropriate the Native American culture there as being "in tune" with nature, breathe the (at the time) mostly fresh air and feel superior about it.

Now, a generation or two later, both cities are unaffordable, crowded hellholes of liberal elitism, gridlock traffic, drug epidemics and homeless favalas.

Trump is the God Emperor. You cannot rush him. Not even Isreal can. The more I think on this, the more I think Trump has been blustering like with North Korea and the Rocketman talk back in 2017. He wants to bring Iran to the table. The only way he can do that is by being aggressive as fuck.
