The big problem with these pork bills is that it's almost impossible to pass anything else with how much the democrats operate in lockstep. Since any other bill would need like 60 votes to be passed, and it's not very likely such a majority can be achieved without the Democrats collapsing themselves. So if anyone wants to push legislation they usually do have to put it in these big budget bills unless the Senate majority leader feels like the parliamentarian should be ignored that day.

From what I can tell the latest version of the bill allows for a deduction of $12.5k for overtime and it is setup to expire Dec 31, 2028. That way there can be a fight then similar to what's happened on SALT. Similar with the bit on tips, except with tips the jobs that can claim it seems to be limited.

Trump gets money to continue doing some of what he was already doing. No tax on tips and overtime portions passed but they're not as good as people wanted. All the fun stuff got stripped by the parliamentarian because Senate Republicans are cucks.

Britain really working over time to be the first European caliphate. It's fascinating how much they are consistently punished for voting WRONG on Brexit. A big point was reducing migration. So what do they powers that be do? Increase it.

World War II was a hard-fought victory, and unfortunately it killed a large portion of Britain's strong men (in physical strength and in strength of character). It broke the nation; only the weak and infirm remained and what little strength came home from the war wasn't enough to preserve Britain's old stubbornness and pride.
