It is fact. I've discussed this in full enough detail and given you the metrics when asked. There are flaws, there are egregious technical errors, there are shortcomings, it's not subjective or contextual. Multiple fire sales at around 80% off non withstanding Rippaverse is losing customers, though the base is generally dedicated enough to be sustainable in the short run.
It's not a pissing match. I agree with you on most everything from what I've seen in the Vito thread. I liked your comments before, same you with me, but there's a lot of times when you're wrong. No, I don't hope he makes millions selling people bad product. He has a family, but why would I wish for him to con more people? It's a grift by definition, and I don't care about the person. Rippaverse clothing Idk, but the books are not worth the paper. I don't know anyone on the internet, there's really no feelings involved, but he deserves to be mocked for how ill conceived and bad his creative works are. I wouldn't advocate for that to continue. I'm not going to sperg about at the same things as Dax currently does or has for the past year and a half. I'm not acting in bad faith as I've always been open to criticizing everyone. I've never said I think anything regarding these things. I've never said those words and those metrics are used by editors and practitioners alike. There's a standard. There are also areas I don't like.
Being informed is not being a stalker. That's very bizarre. There are buyers that do regret their purchases now, especially in lieu of the books being given away at $5.
No, a lot of people do regard them as terrible.
I read the Rippaverse books on 4Chan, the general consensus was they should never be shilled again.
In his YT community I assume outlook is positive.
I'm not criticizing the whole person. I can further clarify that he should be discouraged from creating books since all efforts have been abysmal and his potential for improvement is capped.
I mean I'll agree with you in the Vito form, but not here really. I don't feel any sort of way about any of this, but I do know that people should get their money's worth. I've said that much about SUPERKILLER which brought me here. It's bad as well, but it's not right to sell people on the lie that you can and will do better. This lie is more than half a century old, but instead of of getting Cerebus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Love and Rockets, Grendel or The Maxx, etc. people received works that wouldn't even cut it on Etsy.
