UW Madison is offering a course on "the problem of whiteness" - Yes that is the actual name of the course.

Over the past week I keep hearing the word woke. Is that how yuppies say redpill?

It's like the Communist redpill or something

Luckily lawmakers have noticed and are threatening the college's funding if they go through with the class:

Of course though, in natural sjw fashion, they're doubling down:

I love how the campus is saying this isn't a class targeting whites when everything down to the description and the professor's ideology is blatantly saying it is a class targeting white people as inherently and genetically racist.

For added fun, here's the professor's twitter:
https://twitter.com/profd

Reading his tweets, I wonder how he even got a job at a college, I wonder how he graduated college himself!?

The thing is its already being taught informally, why not switch to formally?

Pretty terrifying. Kinda happy that our university doesn't seem to offer such guilt courses, at least when it comes to skin color.

It's only when you take a look into the course offers for women's studies when it gets sketchy. "Queer-critique", feminist science, feminist theory, gender politics, gender and space, gender and sound (?) etc. (just looked at the list)

The class in a nutshell.

I've seen in used by the left and the right, but more so used by the left as their version of redpill aka white guilt
The black version is how they woke-up to all the hate and injustice in the world (pretty much believe what ever Everyday Feminism and Buzzfeed tells them).

  • Agree
Reactions: Male Idiot
Next course will be called: "The Final Solution To The White question"

I love how people are so exceptional that when they try to stop discrimination, they end up doing the same exact thing.

Who said they're trying to stop discrimination? They're just resentful that they aren't the one who's making discriminatory policies.

Wasn't Jonestown's downfall caused when a black father wanted his kids back when he left the cult?
Jim Jones had problems with attachment of others stemming from his father being a drunk and being a social outcast because of that fact. He was basically being a vagrant as a child. He didn't want anyone in Jonestown to leave. Also massive paranoia from his drug use.

Wasn't Jonestown's downfall caused when a black father wanted his kids back when he left the cult?

It was caused when Congressman Leo Ryan showed up to investigate claims about the group. He was actually leaving when they decided to murder him based more or less on Jones's paranoid delusions, then Jones set off the mass suicide (which had been being practiced for months beforehand).

Apparently,Leo was going to give a good report about the commune. So nothing legal was going to happen if Leo made it back to the State. Though the journalists on the trip probably would have made something out of it since there were a handful of folks wanting to leave and they would've of no doubt told what was really going on at the camp.

From the course description:
Critical Whiteness Studies aims to understand how whiteness is socially constructed and experienced in order to help dismantle white supremacy. Our class will break away from the standard US-centric frame, and consider how whiteness is constructed globally, with particular attention to paradigmatic cases like South Africa.
You mean how racism against whites made Africa's only First World nation literally a pile of rotting garbage within twenty years?

I wonder how long the US would last if all those deplorable whites re-immigrated back to Europe.
