Everyday she’s screaming about MUH GAMING RACISM but somehow doesn’t wanna “waste her time” on someone asking a completely innocuous question. I got Monster Prom in the humble bundle once, you can solo-play it like a visual novel but it really is a multiplayer party game. The randomized elements really make it refreshing, and you're not stuck in it for 3-4 hours at a time.

Most likely? Privately bitching about Dani, and alternating between circle-jerking and purity-spiraling in the remnants of their SJW clique. After they discovered that their little ideological passion project had actual money to be earned, they will have discovered a) who the flakes were who didn't actually want to do work, b) who the dullards were who didn't actually have any creativity beyond making a self-insert OC, but most importantly, c) SJWs talk a good game about profit-sharing until there's actual profits to be had.

I'd bet they're probably seething because they feel like they were pushed out of a chance to earn some of that Kickstarter money, not realising that their entire social group is filled with asshole narcissists like Dani who will happily take the money and run, crying oppression and bigotry all the while. They're also probably upset that their 'friend' betrayed them and think she changed, when all the signs were there that this would happen. It's just previously when she acted like an asshole they believed it was because of oppression and it was aimed at people they didn't like, not that the victimhood is a cover for her being a cunt.

I don't think most of the original artists are attached in any real way anymore. So they're most likely adding 'Game Dev', incorrectly, to their resumés and thinking that how Dani behaved is a one-off, rather than learning anything from it. They've chosen to live in a world where back-stabbing for clout and profit is the norm, and it's unlikely any of them realise that means this sort of thing will always happen - and that, if they were more brazen and thought they could get away with it, most of them would have done the exact same thing.

No surprise here that the game still hasn't launched (and probably never will) and that Dani is still a cunt. I agree with the comment above, I doubt almost anyone from the original group has remained. They probably realized by now that Dani is a cunt, they won't receive any of that money, they were not up for the job anyways, etc.

The only reason I can think of is that they finally got it into their heads that having varying Tumblr-esque art-- some uglier than others, was a bad idea. Which it was. It made everything look amateur and inconsistent.

Not sure how they're dealing with those whose art was scrapped, nor how those artists are coping.

I can’t remember the context well because I always tune out twitter bullshit but iirc someone thought it racist how Ali, the one brown character, refers to the other characters with “sir”. Then people chimed to say how it relates to his character and discrimination (as a brown person in Korea). OP happened to be black and eventually, it somehow exploded into a 1950s American race war discourse because, well, twitter.
Lo and behold, Dani starts going psycho and complaining how there will never be “POC unity” and somehow relating it to antiblackness. Something like that. Probably so she can run off and make another twitter thread about how HARD IT IS TO BE A BLACK GAME DEV!!!1!!

It was really just a bunch of retarded nonsense but it was funny seeing her freak out lol. If Validate is anything to go off (and it is), I guess Dani only likes “solidarity” and “diversity” when they look like black people and nothing else.
