I don't think there's 20+ people working on it anymore - I think most of those were the individual artists that got pushed out when Dani scammed all the money. Not that any of those people had the talent to stop this either, just that I doubt they even got the chance to.

Edit: Guaranteed @Cactus Concerto's version of Bigs has more personality then the character in the game ever will, even though they'll be going for the same vibe. But then, I'm betting that even if ValiDate doesn't turn out to be complete vaporware, any storyline with Bigs will be, because clearly Dani nobody gives a shit about him who works on the game.

Legit, I'd no doubt play and enjoy the game unironically if these writeups were official. They really make the Tumblr hoes feel like actual struggling, flawed individuals with substance to them.

I’m becoming tumescent at the thought of all the spicy memes this gendertrender dumpster fire is going to create.
I think a lot of them are going to involve crosshairs, and others are going to involve members of the cast shaving their pits, taking a shower, and wandering down the tradwife path.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, pisses off the sexuality=identity crowd like one of their own going vanilla and loving it.

I do not trust Dani accepting that the game is a failure even with hard cold evidence. For all that matters, she could just say that the game sold as much as she expected it and write that as a success and never release a 2nd chapter as she "moved on into other ventures" or whatever these grifters do when they fail at something.

Or she could just go full meltdown mode. I never know how this kind of people can react when their bubble burst.

Going by the demo that we saw around an year or two ago, the only vibes that I'm getting is that cis men are evil for not understanding what trannies are...Buuuuut this only from two stories out how many routes that Dani is dragging her feet on.

Some of the artists are also working on making their own indie games (on a small ass team) without much luck as well. Why? Due to shit work ethic of course. If the artists are like this for their own projects, imagine how hard it is to get them to actually work on the thing they're being paid to do lmao

That's not surprising. You'd have to be a special brand of fucked to even consider working with Dani on a pitch such as ValiDate, never mind actually agreeing to do it.

Plus with all the drama of the handling of Kickstarter funds, it's all a big dumpster fire of shittery.

I doubt Dani and her crones were wise enough to make the artists sign NDAs.

So of course, everyone is an insufferable cunt with batshit work ethics.
