Almost correct. They'd be the most popular BECAUSE of how bitchy or evil they try to make them. They'll be so absurdly, over-the-top evil that they become actually fun to be around.

So, I love how they've repeatedly updated their stretch goals... when their Kickstarter was delayed from start of may to mid June... and they're currently getting about 1 dollar per head on patreon.

Presumably, they delayed their game due to COVID-19, but if they seriously think people will have the funding in mid June, they're delusional. Quite frankly, there might not even BE a Kickstarter by the time the crisis is over.

On one hand, its crowdfunded porn games, which never delivers (remember Breeding Season, Studio FOW's first crowdfunding game not the Subverse, remember all those shitty RPGMaker/Renpy porn games with Poser3D assets or Honey Select)

On the other hand, liberal/SJW VNs usually comes out completed compared to other porn VNs/games where its usually abandoned after a year.

To be fair, a lot more work goes into the porn games with the art and such and is far more reliant on skilled help, so they're more likely to collapse. With Western VNs, there's not much art typically and is overly burdened with massive amounts of writing since its the cheapest.

With porn games, you need a good, competent, reliable artist and that costs a lot of money. Usually you get 2 out of 3, not 3 out of 3. Also you have to uh, pay that artist which a lot of porn games forget to do, leading to a lot of artists quitting.

Not gonna lie, this is actually what I'm hoping for.

We've seen these types of creatives in action, we know their patterns. They are pathologically incapable of letting a white guy get a win, no matter how tiny. So the theoretical white character will only exist to be put down by the absolutely loathsome current cast. Not a one of these literal trolls look any fun to interact with for any length of time. So try as they might, they're going to make the white guy more sympathetic and easy to rally around by virtue of being less insufferable and harmful than the characters they actually want to be popular. Even if they write an unabashed skinhead racist homophobe (why the fuck does my phone know that word) he will be so ineffectual and meek in the face of overwhelming wokeness that he'll still manage to be the most sympathetic member of the cast.

This of course is all assuming they don't just stick a white head on a character in the background somewhere and and go "look we did it, whitey got all the representation he deserves," which would probably go over great on Twitter, their actual target audience.

I kind of want to see a dating game where all the potential matches are caricatures of various political ideologies, like the Bernie Bro, /pol/ incarnate, Big Red, etc... Even better if you select your race at the start and then all the characters respond to you differently. If you play a White character, everyone gives you shit but still wants to date you, if you're not White then /pol/ won't talk to you unless you're an Asian girl. If you're a Black girl then everyone is nice to you (except /pol/) but no one wants to date you. Far-Left guys will treat all female characters really well, but there's a random chance of them raping you.

Just make the whole thing a really cynical take on IdPol dating.

I’d definitely play that. That idea probably has potential than validate does. I can also imagine the art having a sort of anime look considering more people like the anime style over tumblr doodles.
