I can understand wanting some ethnic diversity, but so many of these characters be looking like they walked right out of Tumblr, but come from extremely conservative countries. I get they’re all in Jersey or whatever that town in the game is called, but damn, they must have some major family problems. Yes, well, that's because SJWs don't understand culture. They grab the theme park version of it as a way to differentiate characters without, you know, giving them character.

some of my continued sperging about nationalities because it's not really as diverse as they think it is

going based off appearances, we have
-8 black characters
-3 latina characters
-1 native american

apparently, emhari, yolanda, ashlie and rocky are all half asian. none of them actually look like this. in fact, why can't they have a character who's just full asian?

if i'm being fair i guess ashlie looks like she has laotian roots, but we all know who the REAL laos waifu is

So much internalized racism. She doesnt even know that shes being oppressed by whitey. The only fair way to handle this is to dump her and tell her to date another Asian so she can learn how to date within her culture.

Looking back through the thread and seeing the amount of times they "joke" about how if they reached a certain goal they would add a white character, I can't help but think they'd tried to pull some DDLC/Dream Daddy/ giffany BS, where that character turns out to be self-aware/evil.

The sad part is said white character would probably be more developed/interesting than the Tumblr THOTs in the main cast

This just reminded me of the Arkh Project with their crying about how cis-white-straight the games industry is yadda yadda, but neither of them is able to create interesting characters or plots beyond "look minorities!" Well, I guess at least these guys will actually complete their game, so it is not a scam like Arkh.
