So I downloaded the demo for this game and could not be arsed to make it through more than a few routes. It was fucking abhorrent.
TLDR; Someone please save Malik from this nightmare game
First of all, this.
I get it, you use Twitter.
The rest was all pretty standard, but one thing I noticed is that all these characters are assholes. Even the ones you play as and those that the game presents as protagonists are fucking mean. Not only is it hilarious that this kind of shit is what the devs see as normal behavior, but the fact that it is completely unavoidable and you aren't given any non-asshole options honestly hurt me.
A lot of the writing in this game could've been so much better had the writers not been completely egotistical and self-important SJWs.
All in all? I wish I could like it. There's clearly a lot of love put into it, and the people working on it are definitely talented. But the preachy tumblr cishet and white hatred is just stupid. I love Malik though.

I ain't gonna download it but I watched a couple vids that did Anoki, Ashlie and Arihi's playthroughs (to an extent) and they're all such... terrible hypocrites. "Is it rude to assume this person's cis?" Well I mean, if you're gonna practise what you scream at others for doing, then yeah, it IS rude. Malik don't give a fuck, though; he's just out there being a bro and all these bitches are trying to harsh his mellow. Anoki's still fat and only talks about how gender-speshul she is (not to mention deciding to try to get all "wah wah muh parents" at Malik and inserting her opinions about his life, Arihi is melodramatic and holier-than-thou as FUCK and Ashlie's the boxy dick that gets mad at other people for singing in public and getting mad from ALL THE ATTENTION FOR BEING OMG SUCH A FAMOUS STREAMER U GAIZ.
Other than Malik, I didn't really have a problem with Isabelle (Isabella? screw it) because she just seemed... nice. No overt bitching about the system, no super cringy dialogue (that I remember), Ashlie was a bitch to her and she was pretty patient in turn.
