Going with all of this, the game is a colossal bomb. But let us not forget that the game got rebooted and got an engine change mid development, causing it to have delays and then finally released as an episodic game. Most characters had redesigns and their sprites remade (they even changed the name of Anoki as far as I am aware), the original Ren'Py demo was scraped entirely for Unity, making it more bloated than it needed to be.
The game originally had 25 active "developers" where 12 of them were artists, 5 writers, 1 programmer and 2 composers; and I am sure most of them worked for free or for less than minimum wage (if no one resigned after the reboot) on this project. So Dani could have lost money on this even having the back up of the Kickstarter bux.
So I can be sure that Validate: Chapter 2 - Electric Boogaloo will never happen.

There is so much arm hair inconsistency going on with Inaya in those pics. The first one in particular looks like severe burns scar instead of hair. The art is definitely an improvement. Still ugly though.

Microsoft is doing this thing currently where they'll send pretty much anybody money to develop games so long as they can throw it up onto gamepass or Xbox.

Anyway, I watched the trailer with the sound off. Yes, I'm a heretic, but it's a wee bit better than what I expected. At least the male sprites are pretty?

You worded it so well I don't have anything else to add. They belittle these women but inside are so envious they can't be the same as them.
At least they got this accurate, most trans are terrifying.
As for the trailer, the voice and music are not outstanding at all, but are not terrible. The story would be the most important part of a visual novel but I put great value in artwork, it's just off-putting when the characters look so ugly. I would never even consider playing a game where the art is bad and the design of the characters are shit.
I think even if the game isn't fantasy and more of a slice-of-life type, I still think the players want to experience something that you can't just literally get out of your house and have it done. Do these people fantasize about going out, finding someone ugly that wants to smoke a joint and screw something so utterly mind blowing or special? Why for goodness sake would you want to play something so awful, that's like Having a Shitty Life Simulator.

I can not find any numbers for the Xbox version nor for the recently released Switch edition. But if I am going by reviews, the consensus is bad, as neither opencritic nor metacritic have reviews for any of the 3 versions released. I can also not find any review post launch on any platform. This game was not even in the radar.

I am not going to write a long analysis this time. But I can assure that this game is dead: Only 1 playing right now and the average on steam since last week has been 2 players if the charts are correct. No Xbox nor Switch numbers. Itch.io was last updated 15 days ago and the last comment is 6 days old and it is about the game not running in MacOS 10.12.

I've autistically read all this thread in my free time and that's what I've got to say:
1. Don't make the game out of spite. It never works.
2. KF users are really freaking talented. I've enjoyed every new take to make this shit better, every redesign, every @CactusConcerto 's long post.

Wasn't that what the snoot game guys did? Seems like it ended up going pretty well in that case. If you make it out of spite but also for the meme and don't let your sperging influence too much, I say go for it.

I wouldn't really say Snoot game was made completely out of spite, since it shows that, even if Cavemananon and his team didn't agree with KO_OP's views, they still had a genuine attachment to the potential of the setting and characters (and also waifuism) not different to how some people in this thread seem to actually dig the concept of characters like Keaton and Malik, just not when they are written by Dani.
