ValiDate - an upcoming (and unsurprisingly racist) visual novel made by SJW's, for SJW's. Currently MIA.

Not just that, she's also apparently some kind of narrative person for the new Black Panther game, getting in trouble for - well, basically for being the Dani we know from past tweets: https://thatparkplace.com/marvels-b...dmits-to-discriminating-against-white-people/

Nice time to remind Dani that Rocky was a stretch goal, is the most popular character next to Malik despite not actually getting into the game, and even 'your people' will prefer the white guy you don't like over your grievance-obsessions.

Everything is a microaggression to this bitch:

“And I’m not saying that white people in the industry are creating unsafe environments. I’m not saying that. That is not what I’m saying,” she said. “I’m saying sometimes it is hard to work with white people because they think that something may be okay, but it was really a microaggression, and no one wants to deal with that while you’re trying to make a game that they love.”

And what game did you make that people love? A low effort dating sim full of stereotypes? Dani needs to stop choking on her own black tears and get a real job.

What i refuse to accept is how these types always talk about interesting fun twists on the same "boring" content that is made for the evil cis people but they end up making some of the most generically, sterile, inoffensive things ever that has nothing to offer anyone. I don't get why anyone would make a game that is just a bunch of over privileged 20 somethings whining about making terrible life choices when they still have enough time in their lives to turn things around. Even if you relate to that kind of thing it's the same argument of why would i wanna play something that reminds me of these same transgressions i go to video games to take a break from. The name kind of irritates me the most because it's frustratingly on the nose.

Holy shit these routes are so short and flavorless. Typically in normal dating sims going through with a certain route not only gives you a relationship with the character of your choosing but also some sort of character arc.

These characters are just completely static and the entirety of their routes take place in a single room. It's so baffling because if you really wanted to make a dating sim centered around diversity and shoving unsubtle rhetoric in your face then why not have each route involve the characters facing discrimination and their insecurities as they try their best to find love in a world thats seemingly against them? As opposed to them just having tumblr rants about "muh diversity" and then deciding to fuck anyway

I feel like a visual novel centered around that would be much more respectable and relatable to poc and get all the tumblr brownie points. Hell it would probably garner more mainstream attention for its "wokeness" or whatever. But instead all we get is this oc circlejerk where nothing really happens
necroing and very late but what Dani and her ilk refuse to accept is that nobody outside of the very specific circle cares about this kind of stuff. She is the type of person you see on twitter who would question folks like me since i don't like or care about being represented because most of us on this planet are more than just a skin color walking around. This whole thread is one of my favorites to read through because the red flags kept popping up and the game was destined to have no actual appeal at all. Speaking from experience there isn't a single black person i've known or been around who even knows what this game is because they intentionally made it to be so specifically niche to a very specific type of person that the "POCs" they are trying to market to can't relate to any of it. It's why most media nowadays made by SJWs tend to fail since they have a westernized view of how everyone of different races and cultures act and when they don't get the recognition from said people they are trying to pander to they just fall back on the evil cis and white people who have nothing to do with their snowflake products.

Malik is a prime example of what i talk about with friends as why is it that every time these peolpe make anything to appeal to a demographic they chose mostly negative stereotypes that of course exist for a reason but then claim that the other thing they make is not the majority of people. Malik and Keaton can that we are supposed to hate but the character that goes "ong fuck white people" who leaks undatable/unfuckable bitterness is someone we're supposed to root for it's backwards logic.

Well, guys. I have terrible news: I just found out that there's an entire cottage industry dedicated towards shitting out politically correct VNs.
As an enjoyer of otome games/visual novels aimed at women, the kind of visual novel where you can date or have an implied relationship with one of the main characters, this is nothing new. Sadly. A lot of otome enjoyers are lonely women who want to snuggle up with a hot mug of tea whilst reading bodice rippers except you swap the physical book for a video game. And a lot of those women identify as queer, so your run-of-the-mill nonbinary "spicy straight" women and yaoi brained fujoshi.
The audience in question has begun to produce their own content because a lot of visual novels are normally aimed at men. Normally that's a good thing because it means they don't pull a Marvel or DC comics and "reimagine" a franchise with a queer lense but it also means a lot of surface level virtue signalling like what ValiDate brings to the table. Thankfully the vast amount of GOOD visual novels for women limit the pandering to picking your own pronouns, one or two love interests who are queer coded (read: pronouns they/them) or actually fleshed out lesbian/gay love interests and possibly a customisable avatar where of course you can make your stronk black womyn self.

And this is all without mentioning stuff like Dream Daddy, that one Namco High visual novel parody that had Homestuck characters in it for some reason and outright parody VNs that go "Hello Fellow kids" like the KFC one with a bishounen Colonel Sanders.

i kind of knew this honestly because i "like" some of the more NSFW VNs. There's plenty of these PC VNs made by lower tier Validate/GVH type of peolpe because as said many of times VNs are piss easy to make. It's a shame because some of these can be good despite the "porn with a plot" tier writing but most get buried beneath babies first political correct game.

What do we call this genre of "ironic" post-modern western leftist visual novel?... sorry, didn't know what other buzzwords to use.

Aw man, I like Max Mittelman and Robbie Daymond.

I wanna see what the toilet gijinka looks like. Bonus points if it's a nigger or a nonwhite, that'd be hilarious. At least the MC is a girl?

According to the second video, it's an Elvis impersonator

They've deliberately left this ambiguous
Aw man, lame on both of those. I didn't watch more than like half a minute of the second video though so that's my impatience speaking for me.

That's alright. It'll do what Boyfriend Dungeon did and get a small but autistic fanbase of women whether that be fujos, nonbinaries or troons but other than that, nothing really comes of it.

People have been anthropomorphizing inanimate objects forever, this is just a natural progression from Inanimate Insanity or whatever

A game about fucking home objects? I'm pretty sure there was an anime with the same premise.
