iirc it was a bootleg shirt.Hold on that slimer? It looks like a joke you expect out of a cartoon where the cast sells their look for money, and this is the punchline where the stuff being sold looks like bootlegs.

Homestuck Pesterquest had different artists draw the character sprites, so it's good enough for them. The art quality also varies massively, but at least with Pesterquest you can tell some of the artists took inspiration from visual novel sprites (like Danganronpa's art). All of these characters remind me of that infamous Hamilton fanart that had Thomas Jefferson as a trans guy wearing a Hatsune Miku patterned binder. Can I just ask who thought it was a good idea to hire like 12 different artists and have all the characters look different from one another in terms of artstyle? None of these circusfreaks look like they belong in the same game. What will you do when they're on screen at the same time?

Fun fact: Apparently the far left and far right characters are half-Chinese and half-White respectively. Seems like any traces of light-ish skin beyond cinnamon color is expressely verboten in this team.
What fucking stretch goals? I can't find a Kickstarter campaign anywhere on their shit. If they do have one, they are doing a fucking god awful job advertising it.They reached the goals.

I think they are just setting up a kickstarter page rn? I honestly looking forward for a kickstarter saga. What fucking stretch goals? I can't find a Kickstarter campaign anywhere on their shit. If they do have one, they are doing a fucking god awful job advertising it.
You get a thank you note for spending 10 but not 5.there are two tiers, a 5 dollar tier, and a 10 dollar tier,

Here's the best possible result of the 4 patrons giving their money for this shit that totals up to $22 a month: either 3 out of 4 patrons are giving $5 and the 4th patron are giving $7 or 2 out of 4 patrons backing this up are giving $10 and the other two are giving a dollar.
But YandereDev found the perfect niche of autism to squeeze money out that don't care that he couldn't program a game of Tic-Tac-Toe if he had a gun to his head.I think they are just setting up a kickstarter page rn? I honestly looking forward for a kickstarter saga.
Plus they have ko-fi and patreon, they are trying to m1lk it dry lol. Reminds me of YandereDev.
> assuming their skills are high enough even for entry level gamedev positions, nonetheless a middle level.FIFTEEN FUCKING PEOPLE are working on this according to their team page. Holy shit!
Napkin math: 15*60k (mid-range salary for gamedev) = 900k. Kickstarter fee is presumably 25%. That's well over $1m needed if they want to pocket a decent, 1-year salary for the whole team. You can halve that amount for something more "realistic". Not even going to get into taxes, which will easily suck away 25% given how few write-offs there are in indie development.
All this is to say that their stretch goal of 32k is "We'll include a white person", sealing their fate at $31,999, meaning everyone will pocket <$2k at the very most, which would barely cover a month's worth of expenses. If they were 200 IQ, then they would've included a white person by default and set a stretch goal of $10m to remove them. Their loss.
Day 1 pirate BTW.

again, i'm 99% sure that none of these dudes are actual employees who gets paid an actual salary. this is just a bunch of friends and acquaintances who probably met at art school and don't have anything to do with their time anyway, so they're doing this thing as a for-fun project.I'm seeing an awful lot of assumptions here. This game isn't fucking Call of Duty, it's a goddamn VN that is almost definitely running on Ren'Py. Also, what the fuck do they need 15 people for? IT'S A FUCKING VN. Cut out the unnecessary fat. You need 1/2 artists (that way all of your art is consistent and doesn't look like you ransacked your favourite designs from other people's games), a handful of writers to do each route, and 1, maybe 2 people to do music.
This whole ordeal screams of "but we want to include all of our friends so they can get paid, even if they suck ass at whatever their job is".
This VN is going to be a fucking bipolar mess where nothing fits.
Yeah, Animal crossing horses and... goats? have very distinct head shapes, which these most definitely aren't.They look more like normal furry versions of characters rather then animal crossing.

These look like something a grade-schooler might draw. Is this really the professional look they want to give? They look more like normal furry versions of characters rather then animal crossing.

it definitely gives off the feeling that the artist never learned to draw anything else than humans, well, if you call those atrocious designs humanThese look like something a grade-schooler might draw. Is this really the professional look they want to give?
