ValiDate - an upcoming (and unsurprisingly racist) visual novel made by SJW's, for SJW's. Currently MIA.

For Nohua (who's already deleted his stuff) and Validate's devs.

We ain't here to do any more than two things:
1: Archive shit
2: Laugh

That's pretty much it. We're the part of the internet that never forgets.
What these people don't understand is their shit reaches far and wide. I had no idea who any of these people were until their posts were put onto my Twitter feed. I didn't have to go searching for more than two minutes to find their very public tweets. If they don't want us, or anyone they deem terrible, to read it maybe they shouldn't post it at all.

They call us nazis yet we never do anything antisemitic or anything.
Eh, there's certainly enough of the scary words for anyone who defines it that way.

Artist makes public post concerning game after being accused of participating in website watching game news
Website finds public post
Truly, an unexpected turn of events.

Hello, developers of ValiDate, if you're reading this.

First off, allow me to extend our finest greetings to you. We are Kiwi Farms. We are a community of voyeurs who enjoy watching internet drama from eccentric individuals such as yourself. Despite what your peers may have told you about us, we are not a threat to you. We will not harm anything personal to you other than your fragile ego. If people saying mean words about your game upsets you as much as it does many others we document and observe, please consider reevaluating your priorities.

P.S.: Your game is full of ugly troons, and I would not have sex with any of them.

Taking responsibility for workers income is a huge part of entrepreneurship. That’s the overall problem in many indie game projects - devs want to get a team but they are cowards who don’t want to give up their money. Or they are not sure their product will be that good. I know devs who had to maintain “regular” job in order to pay people for working on things they can’t do. Even paying for licensed programs can be a huge bill, depending on what type of game it is and how many people are working on it.
If you decided to make it serious and make a commercial product - analyse TA first, analyse how you can market it and plan the budget and scope of the game the way you can get a profit after release that will cover the costs of workers. That’s not a rocket science - you can find lectures about it for free or ask around on professionals forums.

"You want to be paid comrade? How very capitalist of you. We thought you where doing this because you believed in the cause. We will distribute the wealth fairly once we have wealth."

Its kinda hard for me to see that post, it looks like this one?

Cool to have a thread I can contribute to. I used to know the devs/creators (don't know how to verify this -- mods maybe?) and actually had access to a summary of every character. There's 12 of them, and I don't think all of them have been revealed yet. Note this happened mid-last year, so some things may have been changed (though everything I have matches with the reveals), but here's what I can say:

She actually does not. Here's her profile from the file I was shown:

Name: Ashlie Kolum
Age:24
Race:Hispanic and Asian
Ethnicity:Ecuadorian and Laos
Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Cis (she/her)
Kids (Y/N): N
Hometown:San Diego, California
Occupation: Professional E-gamer
Hobbies: Gaming and baking
Zodiac sign: Scorpio
Backstory (1 paragraph): Everyone she is trying to date is her personal servant. She tends to date men with problems so she could tell them how to fix themselves. Her main goal in life is to find a man to bend to every will she has. Not caring about the consequences. Her actions are harmful not only to her partner, but to her friends. She is found with a new friend group every year, and yet the fans of her Twitch stream love her. They think she is the prettiest woman in the world and send her 1000s of dollars each stream just to get her to act bitchy and rude to online gamers

Catherine Pinla (fat black one with the weird sleeves) is trans.

The unrevealed characters are a Pakistani demigirl, a Cuban theater kid, and I shit you not, a black dad who doesn't give a shit about his children. :story:

Dude has 5 posts (all on this thread), a name relevant to this thread, and some admitted ties to the game. The discord images are marked with "today" meaning they took said images immediately when they happened (if they had waited a significant amount of time, it would have listed the date instead) and was likely planning on releasing them for a while. You don't take a screenshot immediately after something happens if you don't plan on using it.

I can't say Nouha was the Kiwi leaker, but they where probably planning on leaking it eventually. Kiwi dude gets a thumbs up for decent opsec, even if it is pegged as them they gave enough information contradictory to Nouha that they easily have plausible deniability.

While the game may not be "for us," that does not excuse your terrible art direction. It is extremely obvious that every single one of your characters is drawn by different amateur artists, and every single one of them looks like a fashion disaster. Unless you want your game to look like a hodge-podged asset-flip, I suggest getting better character artists and designers. If you truly cared about your project, you would take our criticisms to heart and use them to improve your game.

As for holding the "bad ones accountable," it's not my job to play janny. While there are many users on this forum that I personally disagree with, I cannot and will not do anything more than give them a bad sticker. Unlike the bubble-wrapped echo chambers you're used to visiting, Kiwi Farms is a free speech platform. Many things said on here will offend you. If you are not emotionally mature enough to handle disagreements, I suggest going back to ResetERA where everyone gets banned at the drop of a hat for stepping a single toe out of line from the moderators' opinions, as you'd likely be far more comfortable there.

NOHUA, I'm just gonna say there's no way to get Kiwifarms to behave. Many people would see it as part of the charm of the site, that there's very little filter on what you can say, aside from a few humourous word filters.

With that said, I'll pass you a couple of things to help if you get in these situations:

For recording full readouts of discord chats.

For archiving other pages.

We're stalkers and weirdos, but there's a weird kind of honesty in it. We may interpret things pretty harshly, but we care a lot about making sure the information we're working from is A: correct. and B: recorded. It can be a bit like using Wikipedia for the sources, not the articles. We actually just had some SCP people coming to us recently to talk about shady stuff behind the scenes there because we were literally the only ones recording it from the outside.

Yeah, this would be a whole lot easier if they'd just sign up, even if just to chat with us for a little bit. We don't bite... much.

Upon reviewing the previous posts, I see now that you're the artist who was complaining about not getting paid by the developers. That was my mistake. It just seemed as though you were more-closely related to the project because you were talking about us in context to the game. Still, if you are still on the project (since you seem to have made some amends with somebody), then consider passing our critiques upstairs. They seem like they could use it.

Eh, they already know that Validate Devs are watching the thread. It’s probably in their best interest to not get on so they don’t get slaughtered for joining a site like this.

And, since this person isn't in the developing team, there’s nothing juicey they can contribute. Nohau, just let this go or give us something to laugh at, if you want to talk to us more.

This is essentially stuff that they should already know, assuming that they aren't unemployed weebs living in their parents' basement.

Assuming how they shamed this writer for having money as a main motivation to work it doesn’t look like they know anything about healthy employer/employee relationships.
