ValiDate - an upcoming (and unsurprisingly racist) visual novel made by SJW's, for SJW's. Currently MIA.

Update: Five people from the ValiDate team did an interview with a black otome game review site.

...They do know that most romance themed games are made in Japan and 99% of the time consist of an entire cast of Asians, right? Are they just not "POC" enough for you?

Also "non caricatures" lol.

Why does anyone wanna play a game that reminds them of their shitty lives?

"narrow demographic" You mean literally everyone that can relate to people other than themselves?
"Diverse," fucking lol. The cast is about as monochrome as a television from the '50s. You want a game with 100% non-white characters, go right ahead, but don't tell me it's "Diverse."

Also, "white, cishet, and/or abled characters that just aren't relatable enough to players that don't fit that very narrow demographic." Setting aside the fact that description matches about 90% of people in the US, how crippled is your empathy that you find yourself unable to relate to someone simply because you aren't the same skin color, sexuality, or level of handicap?

I hate this demand for fictional characters to be relatable so fucking much. It’s extremely selfish and shows that young people today are unable to feel empathy towards anyone that isn’t exactly like them. Fandoms are the worst with this mentality. If anything the more I relate to a character the more I hate them.

Those body pillows are terrifying and I don’t even want to imagine how they look full body. They have way too much faith in their game with all the advertisement and making merchandise for something that isn’t even out yet. This will back fire badly,

Why is every Ashlie sprite so badly drawn?

Imagine thinking people of oppressed identities are one kind of monolith that all live and think in one way, like a RAYCISS. That explains the lack of empathy.

I went through all the ValueDate teams twitter @s and found this absolute gem.

Geez... I know it's been said before but... that jawline. Those shoulders.

Are we 100% sure this is a honest-to-God woman?
Ashlie looks like a dude in a wig, not to mention that all her sprites look half-assed, because i'm pretty sure this art is from the person who designed her.

Notice how this character actually looks female.

Even if you are an ugly obese weirdo, you don't want to date other ugly obese weirdos, you still want a conventionally attractive partner.
The "healthy at every size" women want Ryan Gosling, not MovieBob.
The purpose of the game is not to help ugly obese weirdos pretend-fuck attractive partners, it's to provide a way for normal IRL people to pretend-fuck fictional obese weirdos.

Now why would normies want it?
They won't.

The "product" the devs are selling is the fantasy of ugly obese weirdos being desirable IRL. It's still a product for uggos. "Hey, we made a game where the player dates uggos. We think uggos are desirable. Yes, this means you. Give us money." The game itself doesn't need to be fun, it's not meant to be played for fun, it just needs to get good reviews from the woke press.

A lot of wokeshit relies on this dynamic at least partially.

I don't get why they care so much about impressing the woke press.

I mean, they'll get attention, yes. But the most they'll get is some clout and folks in the woke crowd acknowledging the game but probably not playing it. After that, the game will be forgotten about.

At best, the game will just attract the Anti-SJW crowd on YouTube to buy it and create lets plays, bashing it at every second.
