ValiDate - an upcoming (and unsurprisingly racist) visual novel made by SJW's, for SJW's. Currently MIA.

4. What is that on the bottom? It's like it blends in with his pocket? Is that supposed to be the girl's bag? I don't see a satchel or anything like that on her and it's clearly not the bg, so what is it?
Take it easy, it's just a drawing.

Nobody cares, at this point. I'm just waiting for the Let's Sperg to see how bad the dialogue is.

If they can have almost several artists and ask for money on kickstarter they can at the very least have decent art. It know it's a bit spergy, but when you look at it altogether everything is just off.

I know we aren't getting a review from Jamais, but does the dialogue even have anything to offer beyond cringey memes? I'm sure we'll get some more choice quotes, but all we've seen from the screenshots so far is generic placeholder dialogue like "uh" or "um". I guess we're saving the best (worst) for the main game.

Don't get your hopes up. If nothing appealing is revealed about the plot, yet; it's likely to be as much fun as finding an used condom in a bus station.

I'm going to defend your art autism by saying that I'd probably notice the same things if I was staring at these characters for (allegedly) 20-30 hours of gameplay.

I can't think of what exciting antics we get into with the stunning and diverse cast. I mean seriously, all I know is that they work at for a magazine and have 2 knock off restaurants you can go to. No idea about the rest of the plot.

Man, everyone is super ugly, specially the fat ones. You could make them chubby and cute, but they had to go all in the trashy fashion art direction. I mean, personality is what makes a relationship work long time, but dress for your body type.

god even if you ignore the hideous art styles and ugly looking characters, the outfit design is terrible too. all the clothing designs are either bland as hell, or just straight up UGLY.

Thinking more on the "Katawa Shoujo also has 500k words", that game was split across 5 paths. Assuming theirs one for each character, that's substantially less words per path. I smell underdeveloped plots/characters.

Was the 500k word count comment brought up unprompted or what? 'Cause 99% of the time, when someone brings up wordcount out of the blue, it's because the thing in question has no substance and/or they think more words = good and impressive by default.

keaton isn't an italian name...
also, they really want 32000$ for add a white guy (this italian?)
Italians aren't white. This is fraud.

And an Italian guy from New Jersey is going to have a lot more than just one "racist Uncle."
